Pros

Car is good on gas and easy to maneuver with. Decently fast, not too pricey for repairs (especially because its a super common car. You can find a lot of parts in junk yard).

Cons

Gets stuck and slides a lot in snow. Not heavy enough, gets pushed easily with high winds.

Decent Car, Would Recommend For First Car But Would Not Purchase Another. — I like that you can customize this car as you please because there are so many parts and accessories for it but I am more of an American Muscle kinda guy. Don't get me wrong, this car can get me to around and not hurt my pockets but its just too small, too low and too light. I was driving on a very windy day and the wind kept pushing the car so it looked like i was swerving. It also gets stuck in snow a lot and tends to slip and slide on snowy roads. I like it enough to keep it and continue to work on it but I wouldn't buy another.

Pros

In all the years I've had this car, never had any maintenance problems.  It just never stops and is totally reliable.  It is very fuel efficient.  I love this car.

Cons

I wish this car came in a bigger version with more trunk space at the same price.

Gem That Lasts Over A Decade Or Two Decades — Like the reliability and fuel efficiency. There's very little to dislike. It can fit into almost any parking space. It has never had any maintenance problems. If you do the oil changes and preventative maintenance that is recommended this car can last forever. My mechanic says my Honda Civic could go to 250K miles.

Bet Car Ever — In this economy you must look at a car which can make your life easier not harder by saving you thousands at the pump. Also don't cost much to repair if something goes bad, overall this was my best car ever

Pros

I get great gas mileage, 30city and about 40 highway.  The seats are comfortable.  Not really any blind spots while driving and the car handles really well.

Cons

If you are taller than average you may have complaints about leg room and height.

Economical — The body of this car is much shorter than my last (a Pontiac) so it is easier to handle, especially getting in and out of narrow parking spots. I appreciate the great fuel economy and the champagne color paint since it does not show dust and dirt as much as other color options.

Good Little Car — Bought the car in 2001 as a loss leader. Survived Oregon, moved to Nevada, another move to Washington. Great fuel economy. Endured 7 accidents (crazy Oregon drivers). Had regular maintenance. Only major maintenance was changing the exhaust manifold and just had an issue with the transmission. But it was after 190,000 hard miles.

Worth Another Engine — Bought it with blown engine at 184,000 mi. Replaced with used engine & sold to daughter who loves it. Great fuel economy. Very loud tire noise disappeared with new tires (not much noise insulation in these less expensive models). My first Honda.

Commuter Car — Great little car. Economical and clean. The stereo is awesome and it has a security system that keeps it safe, Triad system I believe. The color is green and I like that because it stands out among all the white and blue and silver ones.

An Excellent Vehicle To Own If Cost Savings Is Top Priority — This Honda Civic is comfortable and has a classic Honda look. The gas millage ranged between 32 and 38 miles city and highway miles and part if needed are easy to find and low in cost when compared to most other vehicles. While the care does lack acceleration due to its 1.7L engine the handling and overall drivability are excellent

Pros

Reliable transportation.

Cons

It's boring, slow, and relatively unappealing for anything else.

The Salt-free, Fat-free, Sugar-free, Saltine Cracker Of The Automotive World. — Traditionally the Honda Civic is renowned for its reliability, value, and low cost of ownership. It is basic transportation for all those who care about getting from point A to point B. For anything else the car has the least personality of anything I've ever driven. It barely has enough power to get out of its own way. The automatic transmission always seems to be in the wrong gear when more power is demanded. To get the car to move requires that you beat it mercilessly.
