Great Family Or First Driver Vehicle. Reliable — This isnt a car you would purchase if you are looking to get the "drivers" experience. It was made to be a reliable and comfortable car without all the bells and whistles. I would recommend this for a new (smaller) family who needs transportation or for a new driver. It is easy to maintain and easy to handle. The car it self is top quality in terms of being a reliable source of transportation. The gas mileage also helps during todays mega gas prices. All in all, I have enjoyed the many years I have owned this vehicle. It got me through my first years of driving and has been a reliable partner throughout.

'01 Honda Civic Ex Coupe — Great Car, Awesome quality. The price is great for those cost conscientious consumers, perfomance is great, high top end, ok bottom. Easy to upgrade for looks or racing, and is a great ride overall. Everything is great on this car.

Great College Car. — Performance - low torque, quick but its a civic, good handling, solid feel, and fun to drive. Build Quality - Engine and drivetrain very well built, at 100K and have had no major repairs Appearance - interior a bit plasticy, but has few rattles. Exterior is Silver and still looks good Cost of Ownership - VERY CHEAP, Summer Gas Mileage 35-42 mpg, Winter Gas Mileage 30-35 mpg, low maintenance

Superb Mpg! — I love Hondas. This is my 3rd one and an all around great car. Very reliable, great MPG, and the manual draws a decent amount of power from the 4 cylinder.

The Salt-free, Fat-free, Sugar-free, Saltine Cracker Of The Automotive World. — Traditionally the Honda Civic is renowned for its reliability, value, and low cost of ownership. It is basic transportation for all those who care about getting from point A to point B. For anything else the car has the least personality of anything I've ever driven. It barely has enough power to get out of its own way. The automatic transmission always seems to be in the wrong gear when more power is demanded. To get the car to move requires that you beat it mercilessly.

Worth Another Engine — Bought it with blown engine at 184,000 mi. Replaced with used engine & sold to daughter who loves it. Great fuel economy. Very loud tire noise disappeared with new tires (not much noise insulation in these less expensive models). My first Honda.

Good Little Car — Bought the car in 2001 as a loss leader. Survived Oregon, moved to Nevada, another move to Washington. Great fuel economy. Endured 7 accidents (crazy Oregon drivers). Had regular maintenance. Only major maintenance was changing the exhaust manifold and just had an issue with the transmission. But it was after 190,000 hard miles.

Awesome — Bought it for 250 dollars for a field car, i have put 175 km of abusive km on it and it still hasn't had a single problem yet, i am impressed with it, it is one of the best cars to get with a manual transmission

Civic's Are Great Economical, Practical Car — Love it! Acceleration great for a 4 cylinder. Have driven it through some major snow, better with good tires. Brakes fine for a car without abs brakes. corners great! surprising how much you can fit in the trunk, especially with back seats down.

Worth Your Money — Reliable and great to have when your not carrying too many people around but since its a 2 door can't fit a baby into the back seat very easily, although it is possible! Definitely a great car to own especially with prices of gas going up.
