Awsome Sonoma — My truck is great. I now have tinted headlight covers and window decals. I plan on buying new all black rims come spring. Its performance is good. I just wish it would shift a little quicker but it is a truck so its ok. Other than that i like it a lot. Primary Use: Commuting to work

Sonoma — Good little truck, drifts when pavement is wet though. Fuel Mileage isn't great. The V6 is nice, good starts. No serious issues and its a GM so parts are readily available. It's great to drive. Tows with little effort, bent the bumper mount though. Primary Use: Commuting to work | ||

Good But Frustrating — This truck was great, when it was released. The power from the engine, 4 door design, and room in the interior was top notch in 2000/01. However, once the new nissan, and toyota trucks started to show up this model was suddenly on the back burner. Overall this truck is very solid. The engine while short on power is reliable and the transmission shifts very smooth and has been reliable as well. The components such as the fuel system is horrible. Many have had the fuel gauge go out and spent hundreds trying to replace it without any luck. The truck has enough room to haul 5 people, gear and gets decent gas mileage for a cheaper alternative to nissan and toyota. Plus it is an american truck. | ||

A Brute Of A 4x4 — It's 6 cyl engine is capable, however, I'm used to the power of my Corvette. This is a great truck for hauling and in the snow and ice. I've never gotten stuck in the snow, it will climb up a wall if I let it. Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.) | ||

Gmc Sonoma Zr-2 — I loved the looks of this vehicle and the 3rd door is convenient for added storage.I drove this for pleasure and did not rough it in the mud or snow. It's got a wide turning radius so you need some room to turn around. Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.) | ||

4 Out Of 5 Stars — a very nice truck, but the fuel pump went out at 50k miles so did the starter and alternator at 70k, a head turner every where it goes. has a modified 2.2l when is quick on accelaration, cost of owership is pretty high Primary Use: Commuting to work | ||

Best Mini Truck In Its Class — i love it no hate on the sonoma's. fast great suspension. never had any problems. ran up to 600,000 km like nothing. always looked good. easy to find after market parts. when air bags were put in it drove like a dream. grinded pavement when slammed like butter.interior was easy to work on if doing fiberglass work. | ||

Decent Small Truck — Overall this is a good truck for the money. I would have gotten a Toyota or Nissan if I had the money but for now this truck will do. Compact bed big enough for most things that I need to haul. Pulled U-haul trailer across the country with no problems. | ||
