Pros

Sound. Performance. Looks

Cons

V6's don't like being thrashed from cold.

Underated Sports Saloon — Can't beat that engine's sound. Doesn't attract unwanted attention when pressing on. Had a few issues early on but most were because of the previous owner. Handling is great for a car this size. Performance isn't as good as some other cars out there, but it's fast enough when yu need it to be and comfortable at the same time. Great car though.

Pros

Big car, very comfortable and powerfull

Cons

Sometimes not enough sporty, more like big strong limos

Ford Mondeo — Ford Mondeo, mebmer of a great Ford family. Looks more like a car for bussinesmen, but it's power provides a joy for most young drivers. Handling is perfect, it really stays on it's track, though acceleration depends on type of a machine from 1.8L to 2.5L and diesels like 2.0 TDCI nad so on. Appearance of the car will satisfy any taste. Both interior and exterior is made brilliantly, but in my opinion interior is better than exterior...it could be more sporty. Maintenance depends on where you live, but mostly it isn't expensive car to maintain it in best shape. Car for any age, for people who have real sense for cars.

Cons

Stealthy — For a European car you can say it doesn't get that good mileage, especially in a daily commute situation. (it does about 12.5 liters per 100km - that's about 18mpg) Situation improves on long journeys where you can get up to 26-28mpg. It's a very reliable car, won't leave you stranded. The top version comes with very comfortable leather seats. The ride comfort is also very good and the engine makes little noise when running.

Cons

Lengthy clutch change

Awsome Utility Vehicle!!! — Great everyday car, Cheap to run, cheap readily available parts. Also cheap to insure (group 12e i think) Great spec on this (Zetec) 4x E/W, A/C, R/C/L, Side and Passenger Airbags, PAS, CD Player, Front and Rear Fogs, 16" Alloys. I'd recomend the 130bhp TDCI, But this one (115bhp TDDI) is just as good.

Engines A Little Underpowered For This Saloon (1.8 Duratec Petrol) Zetec. — well built car for its age 2001 still today drives like new apart from recently my fuel pump had to be replaced which could have been expensive WATCH out for this on all mondeos 2001 onwards as it seems to be a very common fault also the the head lamps casing seal rots leaving you with major condensation in the units, inside the car the cd head units are a common fault these also break leaving you with no radio or cd or both these can be replaced for roughly £60 and remember mondeo's are very heavy on the wheels so the bearings dont last too long, its usualy the pass, rear that goes first apart from these few issues the car's a good drive like i said drives like new good mpg and the parts are readily avaidble

Pros

What? Buy a Mondeo? Are you nuts?!

Cons

The build quality

25

I Will Most Likely Never Buy A Ford Again Unless It's An Old, V8-ford From The 60's. — A piece of crap that should be avoided at all cost! A car that wants to be a BMW but is put together by cheap junk parts that fail constantly. Nice handling, comfortable, good looking, but that's not enough to compensate for the lousy fuel pumps, sub par breaks and so on.
