Basic Commuter Car. — This car is ok to commute to work. I have taken it on long trips. Mileage is ok, but you do feel like you're stuffed in a tin can.

Pros

Power, Fun to Drive

Cons

Hard to handle over bumps

Great Little Car — I love this car!!! This car is great. Performance- It was some power to it, more then you would think out of small car. The handling can get a little tricky on bumps. Performance I give this car four stars. Build Quality- Lets honstly say that Ford likes to make cheap looking cars, or aleast the inside. But my car is a 2001 and nothing is broken yet. But the motor and what makes a car run are all great. Appearance-Now I love the appearance to this car. It is great with all of the curves, I like the european feel of this car. Cost Of Ownership- Ok, now you know that every one is worried about gas prices, well I am not in this baby, I have been getting around 25 mpg in my car. Most is city driving. I bet if you could get 30 mpg. Fun Factor-This car is great to drive, and that is period!!! Overall, this car is the best car that I can call my own. And, it is a easy on your pocket too.

Pros

Lots of room to haul stuff - turns easily - zippy

Cons

Low mileage - lots of repairs - 3 brake replacements under 50,000 miles!

Nothing But Trouble — Bought the car brand new - new brakes at 11,000 miles, new brakes at 26,000 miles and new brakes at 46,000 miles. This is a stick shift car and I SHOULD have burned the clutch out...engine light has been lit now for 4 months (this is after I got it fixed after it was on for 2 months)...mileage is never above 25mpg, no matter what!

Good Looking Transportation. — This car is reliable, looks nice and will save you some money at the gas pumps. Good storage for a small wagon. Too bad they aren't making this style any more. I enjoy driving it and the maintenance is minor and easy to keep up with. Good car.

Pros

Cons

Tiny front seats

How Can Something So Big Be So Small? — When viewed as a stand alone vehicle, the Focus Wagon SE was a perfectly workable solution for a mother and her children, but don't ask dad to ride along because he won't fit if he's above average height. Headroom isn't a problem, the wagon has an extended roof line. No, the front seats simply don't travel far enough for dad to get his legs unfolded, and the front passenger seat is like a torture device for gents over 6' tall. The car is adequately powered, but fuel economy is not up to snuff at about 25 MPG. We traded a 1998 Escort SE Sedan for this car and the performance and fuel economy drop off was astonishing. My wife misses this car because she could fit in it just fine, but I did a happy dance the day we sold it.

Cons

Not fast enough

Its A Ford — It has an okay aftermarket, but over all I hate the way it looks. Parts are twice as expensive then Civic parts. The only thing I like about it is, it handles good on curvy roads. But over all its not that great.

Pros

Very fuel-efficient, I was able to save downpayment to buy a new house in less than two years after I bought my Ford Focus ZX-3. I changed the stereo with Iphone dock and the Pioneer speakers installed makes great stereo sensurround while I am driving. Very minor problems like wiper and signal light but those are low-cost repairs. Sporty looking and I love the way the front seats can fold just by tapping it forward whenever there are extra passengers at the back.

Cons

Being a sporty small car, I use sand bags during the winter to add weight and make it drive better during snowfall

Reliable, Sporty, Fuel-efficient — I became a Ford enthusias because of the reliability of my first Ford Focus, so I bought a pre-owned Ford Ranger and I am happy about this truck that I begin to subscribe to the Ford Ranger forum and will start some upgrades to my 1996 Ford Ranger. Planning to save more money for investment, so I just love Ford's reliability, fuel-economy and low-repair cost.

Pros

Low- Maintainance

Cons

The whole thing will start breaking down at the same time.

Small Cheap Car — Good for a first car. Relatively cheap to maintain. I loved this car until someone crashed into it on the side of the road one night. Wish I still had it! Cute, clean, speedy little thing.
