Plenty Of Adequate Space For People Or Cargo. — What I liked most about this car when I first bought it, was that it seated 8 people comfortably. It has many ways to adjust the drivers seat for more added comfort. There are some trade offs that come along with that. After owning it for a few years we seemed to notice that the fron brake pads and calipers were needing to be replaced quite more often than I would have expected. We do live 17 miles out of town off of a gravel road so that could have something to do with it. We experienced problems with the coils. They are whats on top each cylinder for each spark plug to get spark. And when they go bad the truck runs terribly like you have water in your gas, very sluggish. These cost around $80.00 each to replace not including labor.

Cons

drinks gasoline, hard to work on,

Great For An Suv — the vehicle has decent power and can pull most anything withoug strugle, the build quality is exceptional, i put it through hell and it keeps on tickin. the styling is average, seems a little flimsy on the interior, my favorite part is the alloy wheels. the maintnece of the vehicle is fairly low due to quality build but the gas gets pricy. As for being fun to drive this is not the best car for that it is scary to try and follow my friends sport cars lol.

Pros

Lots of leg room.  Smooth ride.

Cons

Less than 12 miles to the gallon on gas.

Overall A Nice Vehicle — It doesn't handle bad for something so large, but after driving a smaller car most of the time the braking leaves a little to be desired. It's nice and roomy, but with a V8 engine eats gas like you wouldn't believe! Accelerating to go around someone on the interstate can make the gas gage drop almost 1/4 of a tank.

Pros

ride, speakers, bucket seats, roominess, leather, keyless entry, power seats, dual climate zone, this year and model is reliable, price

Cons

gas mileage, little underpowered engine (most ford truck engines are even today), size

Not Bad For A Ford — Eddie Bauer makes it fairly luxurious, only one major gap on right side of dash. Nice sound system with sub. 4.7 V8 has about 300 ft/lb torque and only about 200 hp which makes it kind of slow but when you usually drive a car with only 95 hp it seems very impressive. You still get pushed back in you seat if you punch it. B/c 2wd ride is very smooth. Bucket seats in middle are very nice. Bottom line is not a bad suv but are others that are better(toyota sequoia, landcruiser, saturn outlook, honda pilot, mb gl). But for the low price it is worth it.

Great Family Vehicle — gas mileage sucks all around good vehicle. drives good. no major problems except had to replace tie rods about six months ago due to no grease zerts in the old joints making noise during the driving. needed new battery so far too.

Fills Almost All Our Needs — Never stuck for power, space, or in the snow. Easy to find aftermarket fun. We commonly carry 5-7 people with there "stuff" to anything from soccer to the beach. My whole family is tall and no one fights for space even when we carrie 7 or 8 people. I have never gotten stuck in the snow. The 4 wheel drive system is great though there is the little problem of the front drive train letting go. It looks great and is easy to maintain. With that said it is great fun to upgrade.

Bin The Best Suv We Have Owend — We like the Expedition because it fits the hole family and its 4wd. It also has a sun roof and backup sensors wich helps to keep my wife from hitting any thing. Only thing wrong is I need to put a trany in it soon.

Best Truck Ever — great 4 wheel drive suv with tons of power and styling. eddie bauer is the way to go leather all the way. the truck knows no limits and sows it by kicking any chev ass, and leaving no survivors to tell.
