ProsI have gotten 200,000 miles out of it ConsGot 200,000 miles but with multiple and expensive repairs

I Won't Own Another — Won't own another one that's for sure. Put a transmission in at 82,000 and another one at 160,000. Auto Seats had problems, shorted out and stopped working. I have one sliding door that chooses when it wants to lock or unlock and the back liftgate only works when it is warm and dry outside. Not good during wet St. Louis springs or snowy winters. I am in a wheelchair so having that liftgate work is important to me. !st and last Chrysler I will ever own--and they were built in our city, but not anymore! Primary Use: Family transportation

Great But Could Be Better Engineering — Love the space availability for trunk storage and detachable rear seats for cargo space. Power options are equally awesome. Rear heat/AC control is highly remarkable. It is a fun vehicle for family trips with additional DC power outlets for electronics and other devices utilization. Primary Use: Family transportation

Love It — best car on earth, the seating is unique and simply beutiful also it is very comptorable because the engien is not to small for the vehicle and the body does not overpower the accual car itself. v6 3.8 litre engien is reliable and only weighs about 650 pounds. the metalic colour on it just kills me when its all cleaned up and in the sun it sparkles, mr.clean should have this car. ProsTown & Country's are spacious family vans that are fun to drive ConsGet a Volvo! Watch out for Hummers they are said to be gas guzzlers.

Town & Country 2k1 — Despite all the cars we own this car is so fun we take it everywhere from places around home, all our college/university campuses and out of state vacations like Michigan. Our van gets good gas mileage but I just wish somebody would do something about those skyrocketing gas prices even though there may cheaper gas out of state usually. This car probably been in the shop every once in a while. The only problem is one of the doors has to shut manually. The van has a nice inside but when that door is open and our wheaten terrier is out it's fun for her to hop right in and climb all over the seats till my dad gets her out. I just wish it had a dvd player in it. Everything else in the car works.

Good Mini-van For The Time We Had It — We bought this car in 2000 as a new model year for the 2001 with all of the electronics and automatic doors and etc. For the first few years it was great and ran great. Took several trips in it with the family. However, as soon as the warrenty ran out (like with every story) the thing started to have problems. Automatic doors stopped working, we replaced the AC unit twice to the tune of $1800 and the service at our local Chrysler dealership (bankston) was horrible. The van has over 140k on it and is still running, but all of the little problems are troublesome and expense to fix.

Prosfits four carseats great! love heated seats and different controls for ac/heating, radio controls on steering wheel are a plus! Conshaving problems with fuel and air intake

Good Family Vehicle — Smooth ride when working properly. I like that the mirrors are attached to the van instead of the doors so you can still see when the doors are open. I would like the second row to have three seats. not easy to clean the areas where second row seats attach, the holes. the jack that came with van broke after two uses. ProsRides and drives like a dream. Very comfortable, lots of space, great for long trips. ConsSoooo expensive to maintain and fix. Has cost me over $5k in repairs since it hit 140k miles.

I Will Never Own Another Chrysler Product — The good: This van is great looking, very comfortable, handles well, has lots of power, and is great to drive. The captains chairs, rear bucket seats, tv, rear air, and leather make it a comfortable ride for everyone. It's really great for long trips. The 4-wheel disc antilock breaks are nice and I have always felt very safe driving this vehicle. The 3.8 V6 makes for quick acceleration and can handle hauling all your peeps easy. The bad: Ugh where do I start? As soon as it rolled over on 140k miles, I started having trouble with it. I have 189k miles on it now. I've replaced the transmission, engine, radiator, and a/c compressor as well as other smaller parts. The driver's side rear door motor went first, then the passenger side. The doors still open manually, but not with the buttons anymore. The gas mileage on the 3.8 V6 sucks, about 19mpg on a good day. Because of the mechanical problems I've had with this vehicle (and the cost of repairs!!), I will NEVER own another Chrysler, Dodge, or Plymouth product. Primary Use: Family transportation

ProsGood family/grocery hauler. ConsGas mileage, might as well own a Suburban or something more attractive.

Great For The $!!! — Purchased used for a more realistic price! As a new vehicle they are grossly overpriced considering the Honda and Toyota have better build quality. The new Odyssey has a potential of 28mpg and 24 for the Sienna. While the Chrysler/Dodge is stuck a the same 17-24mpg. I've seen an average of 18. Primary Use: Family transportation

Great Family Van — We have had our van since it had 18,000 miles, now it has 175,000 it has been great, but we have the bigger 3.8 engine and have taken care of it, oil changes nipped any noises in the bud etc. we have the leather seats which have held up vary well, but they aren't the most comfortable in the year model. It has handled very good and in the mountains has done very well, except on steep downhill grades the brakes will get very hot, its very heavy and you feel it then. over all we have not had any major repairs and hope to drive it for about 100,000 miles!
