2001 Chrysler 300M Review
Proslooks and comfort were definatly Chrysler's focus when designing this gem, I think they were going for amenities exotic high end cars have but at a more realistic price. I absolutely loved the tan leather interior, sun/moon roof, Bose sound system and six disc cd player. the automatic dimming rear view mirror, and let me tell you if I was in the mob id buy a 300, the trunk couldve held four bodies in it (joking) but huge trunk! I even like the pointless analog clock in the dash board. ConsWINTER is not this cars friend, going downhill required you to drop it down and hope the breaks held true. just too front heavy. that was really my only issue with the car

My Kind Of Car — I loved this car, I still regret selling it. The stock wheels that came with the car really added a nice look to it. it was luxury at an affordable price. The power of this car actually surprised me. The car would dust my escape in a race. A lot of power and weight. I miss you 300m :( Primary Use: Commuting to work

ProsThis is a great car. I have 225,000 miles on it and it runs and drives great. I checked the compression and still have 195-205 pounds of compression. Everything works on it yet. ConsI personally have not had any electrical problems, but I have heard of many people having various electrical problems.

Great All Around Car. Mileage Is Acceptable For A Large Car. I Get 27 Highway. — All around great car. Very comfortable seats for long or short trips. Heated seats are great and fast acting. This car is great for long trips. Very little fatigue compared to most cars. visibility is good. Car is well thought out for maintenance, easily accessible repairs. Proseconomic, spacious, confortable climate controls ConsIt's middle age for this car. Wife wants newer.

Compare To A New Car This Is A Bargain And Will Take To The Same Places For A 1/4 Of The Cost. — Driving this car feels like driving a small car. Rear brake pads are new. Interior and exterior look nice. no tears or worn leather. My wife wouldn't drive any other car, she loves the radio and cruise controls at the wheel. 22 mpg City, 28 mpg Highway. Paint is shiny. Headlights are polished now. Primary Use: Commuting to work

ProsCoupe-like profile with four doors. ConsShe's not something I would take to the track.

Not Great, Not Bad. Good From A To B. — I love walking outside and looking at my car. The rear end is really gorgeous. I don't care for the bubble-like styling used to shape the front end. Performance-wise, well, it's just a V6, so nothing to brag about. Got her up to 110 once on the high way, but that's about it. Gas mileage is great, right now I'm averaging 25 mpg's. It's pretty sweet. As for fun? Well, I wish I could throw her around, but I just can't risk an accident, she's my only mode of transportation. Primary Use: Commuting to work

I Want Something More Reliable And Less Maintainance — I am not a huge fan of Chrysler but I got it very cheap. I would prefer something else when I can afford it but it drives nice for the age of the car. I like it for the time being. Primary Use: Family transportation

Love It Except For The Tire Issue — I love everything else about this car except that it is a real pain to have to put air in the tires every 2-3 days. My tires go flat in that amount of time - I think this is a safety issue and should have been resloved by the Chrysler Company. If the rims cause the problem I think they should have been made to replace them. Owner for 5 years, 0 months Miles Driven per Year:50,000 |
