Ok Cars — Performance- decent acceleration, when humid the rear brakes will squeak due to pads swelling Build quality- valve covers and oil pan are common problems Appearance- very attractive Cost of ownership- get good gas mileage and repairs can get expensive Fun Factor- great car keeps up or passes almost all non- turbo cars Primary Use: Family transportation

Carl — i love the appearance, interior and exterior. i enjoy the power, acceleration and braking, but the handling resembles that of a school bus. it has not needed any repairs although the brakes squeak at times as well as a small amount of trim rust. the gas mileage is amazing and the maintenance is low. this car is fun to drive because it is not tempting to speed in it, its great to just look good in the car cruising around, yet the power is there if somebody challenged you. i would recommend this car for anybody with a heavy foot, it is less tempting to speed, yet i would not recommend it for those who have trouble controlling a car (new drivers) due to the fact that it is long, handles poorly, and has power. | ||

2001 Monte Carlo Ls — Although it is a Chevrolet and I'm a Ford guy, this is probably one of the best cars I've owned. Great performance, fuel economy, plush but sport ride and very quiet. A real head turner when it is washed up and polished. Most people thought I would get poor fuel economy, but so far it is anywhere from 35-40 MPG. | ||

"wolfy" Is Dedicated.... — "Wolfy" is happiest when all 4 paws are running flat out! [Thank goodness for cruise!] I love this car! Comfort. quiet [unless the radio is cranked up] regular maintenance without major needs. :) Everything about her is fantastic, handling, acceleration, stopping....she's just a lot of fun! Love The Car — The only thing wrong with the car is the engine. The man who "designed" this engine was a freakin moron! AVOID THE 3.4L V6 ENGINES AT ALL COSTS!!!! Other than that, the car is fantastic. It's comfortable, easy to work on, and a great first car. Primary Use: Commuting to work |
