Pros

They do not require repairs as often as other brands do. Just regular maintenance like oil change, spar plugs, etc.
They hold their value.

Cons

It has a high ticket price.

Looking For A Car That Holds It Vaue; But Provides Style, Luxury And Reliability — I like evertything, I can not complain, no worries. Some people won't buy BMW's because they think that maintenance is really expensive but the truth is that is not expensive. I have owned this car for since 2 years ago, nothing is licking, faulty or needs replacement. The only wrong thing that I found is the radio display has a pixel problem.

Great Car — boy boy boy what a car a suv with sport suspension and 3 types of transmission. I always drove this one in sports tiptronic . 70 mpg on small nc country roads. great car. had it as a company lease working for bmw at a great price. this one pulls you in your seat when pressing accelerator, and tiptronic reacts very fast. i got stopped by a anonymous cop car driving the first 10 miles. was doing 70 in 45 zone without touchng the accelerator

Bmw X5 — Good handling, quick, strong and sexy. My Girl loves it. She drives it all the time. She doesn't let me drive anymore. But in driver or in passenger seat, I must say, this car is a real eye catcher. I recommend this SUV to anyone and everyone that likes BMW and wants to own a 4X4!

Suv But Drives Like A Car — Great off the line and cornering. Very solid and secure feeling while going down the road. Just big enough but not too small so it's the perfect size. Oil changes are very easy for anyone to do. Easy to maintain.

5 Speed Manual Bmw X5 — Performance - Acceleration not bad for a 3.0l SUV, the handling is amazing the x drive system does its job and allows this suv to handle better than alot of cars. Guess thats why BMW calls it an SAV. Build Quality - The windows can break if someone or something pushes down on them while the motor is running Appearance - a bit better looking then most suv's fof this size range. Cost of Ownership - (5 speed)around 18 to 19 mpg in town up to 24 on the high way. Fun Factor - this car is a blast to drive. Not like any other SUV i have ever driven.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

2001 Bmw X5 — What a car. It looks so much better than the new one, it handles like a Z4 I have driven before i.e great fun to drive, gas mileage is good for an SUV and sounds great. What more could you want?

Ultimate Driving Machine — Even though it is a SAV on the outside that doesn't mean it has to really act like one. The stiff handling is remarkable especially for its weight. Its gets the job done, whether its picking up friends or giving it all it has on and off the road. It truly is the ultimate driving machine.
