Prosengine Consexpensive labor
25
My Baby — 325hp stock, German auto has never let me down. IMMACULATE condition especially for an 01. The cars handling outweights its power with AWD QUATTRO steering. The only things i had put into the car are smoked out tints and taillights plus a full intake. Audi knows how to make cars, well. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

My Audi — Sensible and confortable safe car to drive with the best sound system ever. Very stylish car with good performance from the 1.8 T engine and very good fuel economy considering the size of the car. Build quality is excellent and solid Primary Use: Family transportation

ProsEveryone loves a nice, big V8 under the hood ConsElectrical problems
25
Good 0-60, Loves 3rd Gear...wish It Had The 6-speed — I love the 4.2L V8 with the nice, Vortex mufflers...Reminds me of an RS6 (minus the awesome twin-turbo whistle). Good traction, made for the autobahn, love the Quattro, especially in Alaska. I would like some more aftermarket parts to be available like the 2.7T does. It is a gas-guzzler and parts and labor are expensive, so don't buy if you can't afford it!

ProsDecent power and handleing. Great interior. ConsBit large for me and turbo lag is a bit long

Great Midsized Car — Performance - has nice acceleration with the Turbo V6. Car does not roll a great deal in cornering. Excellent interior - comfortable for long road trips. Controls are within easy reach. Cup holders not placed well. Has nice body lines. Smooth lines from front to rear.

Love the dual pipes & good amount of wood grain...good size wheel well, a lot of space. Note to Audi... people want horsepower! This car has NONE!!! It should have 250 easy, with equal torque or more torque...

ProsEverything ConsNone

My Baby — This Car is so powerful and handles excellent. Audi is also famous for its all wheel drive and this car is no joke in winter time, it is so safe. I love everything about it especially the turbos. Though I wish that audi makes more of it in stick shift. I give it 5 out of 5.

ProsPERFORMANCE!!! ConsReliability
45
A6, Ups And Downs — The A6 was a beast in performance (acceleration especially), well at least for breaking speed limits on the high....that was all i got to, and it was also a quality luxury car, but there was a down side.... If you're thinking about owning one of these you'd better be prepared to fork out a monthy service bill and money for a rental car. The A6 was designed with performance in mind but from a reliability standpoint there was much to be desired. Every moth I would take the thing down to the shop to get yet another part fixed. It ranged from simple electronics to serious engine problems. One example was the time there was a crack in one of the engine pipes and when I took it to the shop the guy thought I would be satisfied with a "oh that happens a lot" answer. That happens a lot!? Well then why the hell dont you fix it to where it doesnt? In conclusion the A6 has well enough power for us sports car fanatics, but can sometimes ruin your fun because it's not reliable.

ProsGreat interior, Extremely safe, Low maintenance costs, Good gas mileage. ConsLacks sportiness, Somewhat underpowered for its size.
95
Practicality At Its Finest. — The A6 2.8, although sluggish off the line, performs decently - the top speed is limited at 130 mph - for an everyday family sedan with only 200 horses. And with elegant interior rich in leather, genuine wood, and metal, it is sure to please the senses every time. Primary Use: Family transportation |
