Old codgers image if you take the T5 badge off

Volvo V70 T5 — Wolf in sheep's clothing T5. Watch out for those 155mph speeding tickets. The Police delete the Speed limiter on theirs, so will still catch you! 19MPG when driven for enjoyment, but hey who cares, I only use it at weekends, so spend less on patrol than most.

handling but it is an Estate

Great Allrounder — A Great family car and as it has the 7 seat conversion good for everything and also excellent performance for such a large car I have T5 model which is blisteringly fast for a family estate ok it doesn't handle great but any straights you can get a decent buzz from pushing it upto around 150mph which is pretty good.

Safe, reliable, quite, super comfortable. Huge cargo capacity. Amazingly comfortable seats. Lots of options, good tunes and very good mileage, especially for a car this size. Easy to work on.

Cons

A/C is a bit weak - typical of this vintage Volvo. Dealers charge exorbitant prices to work on them. Find a good independent mechanic and look online for used parts.

Great Utilitarian Cruiser With Style. — Parts can be high and, when you do have to go to the dealer, they make you pay dearly. A good independent mechanic can cut maintenance costs by 30% or more. Luckily, they're quite reliable and not much has to be done.

A Good Second Car, Used. — Well built, but a little too complicated with the electronics. Known weeknesses: ABS unit,window switches, throttle control unit. Overall...smooth solid ride, great look, plenty of room and a body and engine that will last for ever. No regrets.

Allways A Buy — Lovely to drive on long drives. No noise great troque just very pleasant driving. Put on cruise control at a 180km/h and feel like in your sofa. The motor lived to see the 450.000 km so a long time friend

Good All Round Estate Car — The V70 is a good all round car loads of load space Handy with two kids and two dogs. the 2.4 engine can drag the car along at quite a good rate withe not bad fuel econamy. Even for a estate can it's good to drive, and will tow anything.

Great Car, Terrific Gas Mileage — the car is salvaged but no body or frame damage Runs very good but needs little repairs that area adding up in cost. Great gas mileage and very comfortable.
