2000 Volkswagen Jetta GLS TDi Review
Check engine light you'll see too often
Awsome Car, Feels Like The Most Luxurious European Car — Diesel engine is awsome and barely audible, never missed a start even in the worst weather canadian climate could throw at it. Some parts are somewhat shaky thus, but build construction is terrific ! Feels like a much higher priced car than it is. I was most skeptic about VW and used to swear I'd never own one of those... I was never that much surprised by a car. Only problem is the constant appearance of the check engine light because of very badly designed anti-pollution systems which clog up intake pipes and crass sensors.

Style, design, construction, drivability
It's German, Need I Say More. — Beautiful style, great design, well built and solid, loaded as standard. Performance is quite spritely considering only 2lts and auto. Cost of ownership is minimal, usual maintenance, although with higher quality(higher price) parts. Mileage good. Still retains it's style after 12 years.

2000 Volkswagen Jetta Review
Good Dependable Car — My mom has owned this car for 5+ years and has put close to 80k miles on the car. Its a workhorse. I've driven it once or twice and its a nice little car. Nothing fancy but very dependable. If you want an inexpensive dependable car this is it.
