Pros

Fuel economy, handling, minimal maintenance, low TCO, great power to weight ratio and low turning radius, super-reliable

Cons

Not great for bad weather or big people, cargo space is OK, may feel light during heavy winds

Super Reliable, Economy, Low Maintenance Car That Pleases Any Car Buyer — Likes: Economy (40+ highway / 30+ city mpg), handling, minimal maintenance, low TCO, power/weight ratio, low turning radius, super-reliable, comfortable, decent moderate looks Dislikes: Bad weather handling, big people may suffer, limited cargo space, may feel light during high winds, non-luxury Overall, high build-quality. Fuel economy is a massive plus. I have driven Priuses - but believe me, if you are driving on highways, you would rather drive the Corolla than the Prius. I have driven this car on really long drives - upto 10-12 hours at one go (with only gas fill up in between) and nothing seems to bother the car. This car has been so reliable for me that I would hate losing this car to a newer (probably better) car even if I can afford the latter. I have had to spend little maintaining the car - changed a battery, AC fluid and belt once each - thats about it and then the oil changes every 5k miles. I feel that any new consumer who is looking for a car has a great choice in the biggest selling car in history.

Pros

great on fuel economy

Cons

horrible automatic box really doesn't help performance of this car
disgusting appearance - have you ever seen a worse looking car rear?
it's got about 2 horsepower
no leg / head room (i'm 190cm and struggle in it)
stupid placement of stereo - on TOP of the dash - yes... like they put a box on top.

Painfully Reliable But Horribly Dissapointing — Every time i get in this car and turn the key, it's a massive disappointment. From the sound of a 4cyl idling at 650rpm, to anything you do to it, it sounds (and acts) horrible. Push your foot down to the floor... you'd expect SOMETHING to happen, right? No. It will simply quietly and "efficiently" move off the line - THE GRANDPAMOBILE.

Pros

Never breaks. Decent horsepower. High MPG. Affordable.

Cons

It could use 25 more HP...

Reliable And Affordable! — Japanese engineering! It is one of Toyota's best products. 4 adults feel comfortable inside. Extremely reliable - never breaks. I get 33-35 MPG in town and 35-40 Highway MPG! Although it is affordable, it's price isn't going down, so you won't lose lots of money when you decide to sell it.

Pros

great gas mileage, handles well, good in snow

Cons

needs more power!

I Love My Corolla :) — This is a really great car. It gets great gas mileage and is really good in the snow. It's also nice and small so it's easy to parallel park it. The only thing I don't like is that it's 4 cylinders so it takes a lot to get up the mountain that I happen to live on.

Totota — Loved this car. Great on fuel . Even shipped it to Perth when I moved there. Travelled well on the drive back to NSW. But was very easy to speed in & not realise you were going that fast on the open road.

Pros

Gas Mileage...

Cons

Slow, Cramped, Noisy, Can't turn off the Check Engine Light, Less reliable than my Chrysler

It Gets Great Gas Mileage And Keeps Miles Off My Fun Cars, Aside From That It's A Total Pile Of Crap — This car just turned 35,000 miles and it's been a pain in my butt. I've gone through both O2 sensors, Fuel Pump, MAF Senor, Brakes, Dash rattles, Hard Shifting transmission, erratic acceleration. Aside from the gas mileage and the fact that I don't care about it much it's not worth owning. I'd light it on fire if it weren't worth $$$

Buy One — What the?! Another Toyota?! Well my office moved and my commute increased, so I had to downsize to save gas. Still no complaints. Never any maintenance issues, comfortable for a small family, reliable, safe, and affordable to own. Two more words.
