Its a v6, I was also told u could see that the chain in front looks worn, but what I have googled it doesn't sound like the timing chain. If anyone could help out it would be greatly appreciated

I Was Driving My Truck When The Battery Light Popped On And It Just Cut Off...

I'm really not convinced that is the problem. I read that if it was timing chain it wouldn't even turn over. Please help mom of 3 who doesn't have access to busses ro get around.
