Lexus Is 200 Sport Tte Compressor — The TTE Compressor modification to my Lexus IS 200 makes it the car it should have been from the start. I love it: puts a smile on my face every time I drive it. Performance. Acceleration is fast, although it feels very comfortable & smooth (it's a Lexus after all). The braking is very performant too, they can be dosed very well. The handling is a dream: double wishbones all round, lowered suspension (springs) - will be replaced soon, they allow too much instability at higher speed bumpy corners - rear wheel drive and the limited slip differential make it a very sporty ride. Build & Quality. The IS 200 was originally a Toyota Altezza, so that doesn't need much more words. Appearance. The car is not modified externally (except for 2 sets of wheels & lowering): a wolf in sheeps clothing. Cost. I do admit it cost me a bit to get it roadlegal in Belgium. And it does need a bit of fuel.

- — Performance - reaction of the acceleration is bit slow than what i thought, 4 gear AT wasn't enough, braking and handling are both great.P.S engine sound like electric motor. weird! Build Quality -only front seats have aircon, if there are people at back seat then i must have to turn the aircon to auto or else they will lack of oxgen. Appearance - the body look gorgeous and i really like it. Cost of Ownership - fair enough Fun Factor - this car make you feel sporty and confort.

Lexus Is200 - What A Car — fantastic acceleration for such a large heavy car, 0-60 in 7 seconds. the handling is second to none, you always feel in contron and its hard to lose control, it just wont let you, the brakes as standard on this car, if you ever need to stop quickly, you feel like you have dug a hole in the tarmac, its an imense feeling as you see the huge snarled bonnet dip into the road and the seat belt hold you tight in your comfortables half leather/half suede sports seats. Being a japanese car, the buidl quality is as usual fantastic, it went 96000 miles befor it needed a new clutch, say no more. the IS200 looks fantastic from the side, huge number plates, crome rear lights and two seperate round fogs and the huge boot makes it look like a sports saloon, the snarled huge bonnet with the humped middle, the curved headlights and the huge front grill makes the IS look like its hard, even demonic, and perfect lines and curves makes the car look fantastic from any angle. the half leather, half suede sports seats makes the interior look comfortable and sporty, the chronogragh dials gives the IS a whole difffernt look, and so clear, with the MPG and rev dials standing out above the others. the crome knobs of the climate control and 6 cd changer adds to the sportiness and comfort look. ok the running costs are not great, its still £60 to fill the tank after 230 miles, and £230 a year road tax, and sticking to true japanese perfomance vehicls it drinks oil, but a small price to pay for such a great car. this car is great to drive, if you want to tootle at 30, in 4th gear you can, but if you want to work through the gears bringing it to its top speed of 170mph quickly it soon kicks into touch, but it feels so solid, the steering is so mm perfect and planted you have real confidence to drive this car to the max, WHAT A CAR

My Opinnion Of Lexus Is200 — I like the make, FR layout, 6-speed gearbox and looks. Build quality is pretty good, i haven't had any break downs and i have had this car a year and 3 months now. It has 170,000km in odo. Car had pretty desent stereos as standart but because my hobbie is cahifi, i had to upgrade sound system. More power would be nice but i can live with it.
