2000 Lexus GS 300 Overview
Changes to the 2000 Lexus GS 300 were all subtle and all safety-related. In addition to rear-shelf child seat anchors, the car was certified as a low-emission vehicle.
A standard Brake Assist feature was added as part of the Vehicle Stability Control system. It automatically provided full hydraulic power in response to quick, strong brake-pedal movement. Otherwise, the car and its V6, 225-horsepower engine were unchanged.
Favorite features among drivers and owners included the sound system and the GS 300's smooth handling. The GS 300 also had a significant amount of interior room for a midsized sedan.
