2000 Honda Passport 4 Dr EX 4WD SUV Review
Great power and when in 4wd, handles great!
Everyone I've asked agrees you can't expect more then 200,000 miles out of the passport before repairs get to be more then the car is worth.
Great Car For Winter Buy At A Low Mileage If Possible! — I used the 4wd often living in a mountain town that gets lots of snow. It did great when in 4 wheel, however if I didn't remember or think it needed 4 wheel the chances of slipping we're great. If you live somewhere that receives more than 40 inces of snow a year you may want to reconsider the passport, unless you live in a flat area. The clearance is a positive but I paid for studded snow tires to just be able to get to and from work, a total of hwy 4 miles, safely. The overall comfort of the vehicle is good, comfy seats in the back and front as well as fold down rear seats for easy storage. However, the back end is surprising on how little storage there is for an SUV. I easily put about $45 every month in gas which isn't too bad but could be better for this size vehicle. The pick up and and braking systems are by far the best feature of this vehicle, it will take off and almost stop on a dime. It handles well and with the exception of slow cornering is great to drive.

Don't Buy New At The End Of A Cars Cycle.
I've had the car since 2002 - it's the ex-l (lux or leather) with 4x4 and towing. I have 105k on it now and never really had a problem. The car has enough power, the 4x4 push button works great. Now... Read More

Great Suv For Anyone
This vehicle doesn't get the best mileage, but it's okay for and SUV. The 205 horsepower V6 is very powerful yet quiet. This Passport is the exact same as an Isuzu Rodeo. Ride quality is great and so ... Read More
A Good Little Truck, But Not My Dream Car :/
I like it well enough. It gets me from A to B. I've only had it for a few months. It's a bit of a bouncy ride but I don't mind it. It's not much of a looker but it'll do well in the winter! Read More
