Cons

the gas gauge does not work

2000 Gmc Truck Number Three — I enjoy the body work and the fact that it looks differrent that a chev. It goes through alot of snow. It does have lots of snort too. Heated Leather bucket seats, lockable centre consol and one fancy stero it is loaded.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Cons

won't fit in the garage

New Trucks Cost Too Much, 90's Trucks Are Outdated So This Truck Is Just Perfect. — The 4.8 vortec has more power and save more gas than my former 93 silverado with a 5.7 [350], 4 wheel disc brakes and I think the body style looks better than the 07 and up. It also has more cab room than my 93

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros

dependability

Cons

Gas mileage.

Good Truck. — Strong 5.3L engine. Good towing ability. Never had any major problems. Very capable off road, but would like to see more packages offered from factory. Such as suspension upgrades or specific offroad setups that would be covered under factory warranty. However, aftermarket is covering this market very well for this specific vehicle.

Pros

Leather seats, two 12" speakers, fast.

Cons

Back seat high, brakes sqeak, electric seats, gas consumption.

Irene — I like the leather seats and the sound system. Also the large steering wheel, A/T tires and the rear end. I got a steal on the price and it gets around town and through mud. I do also have some dislikes about my truck. I hate the electric seats that take an hour to move and the amount of gas it sucks. So if you plan on riding in it have cash for gas.

Pros

very good truck, styling is sublte, yet satisfying...

Cons

sensors are overused in these trucks, very annoying...

Drove More Than Just One Model Year! — oen is used for a pilot truck, and the other is just a 'family truck'. both have very snappy performance, but the trans lags back a little bit... almost to the point of allowing the engine to 'over-rev' itself, interior if full of soft looking trim, and the seats are supportive.

Pros

great work truck, good on gas, fun to drive

Cons

a little slow cuz of the 6cyl

Great Work Truck — This was used as a work truck, just like the owner before me. It had the 4.3L 6cyl, which was great on gas, but still could haul loads.
