Overall — Overall, I love the truck. Good interior space for the kids and I love the third door for access. Lots of room under the back seat as well for storage. Power and pick up is excellent and it also handles very well. I back into parking spots all the time and it's a breeze in this truck. Primary Use: Family transportation

ProsPretty damn good for a 12 year old truck with 230xxx km's if you ask me. ConsLots of people have trucks just like mine. On the other hand, not many people would be driving trucks like mine if they actually sucked...

Just Your Run Of The Mill Sierra — Pretty slick truck. Chirps tires in second and holds its own against most other trucks and cars. Pulls my trailer and all my stuff out to the lake with no questions asked. Drives down cutlines pretty good most of the time (All -terrains) and rides super quiet down the highway. Rides smoother than my dads new duramax. Starts everytimein the cold. All while getting a manageable 15-18 miles per gallon. Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Grey Cab — Not too beautiful but comes in handy. A place problem with single cab but the 8' box is the best for going in the woods with an atv or ski-doo. A couple maintenance problems but lives with it, its a 2000 Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

2000 Gmc Sierra 1500 — Great truck for towing my snowmobile. Tows my camper an jet ski easily. Looks great and has lots of balls for a 4.8 vortec. Great on gas. Trucks like new and always have alot of people tell me it looks great. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

I'd Own Another One In A Heartbeat — This truck was one of my all time favorites. It had a V8 with a 5-speed manual transmission. A wicked combination that provided optimum power and acceleration while still getting 25+ mpg out of a full size 4x4 truck. Primary Use: Commuting to work

New Trucks Cost Too Much, 90's Trucks Are Outdated So This Truck Is Just Perfect. — The 4.8 vortec has more power and save more gas than my former 93 silverado with a 5.7 [350], 4 wheel disc brakes and I think the body style looks better than the 07 and up. It also has more cab room than my 93 Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.) |
