Murdered Out 2000 Silverado 2500 — My dad bought this truck brand new in 2000, it has been to texas hauling trailers and loaded down multiple times and has now just clocked 226k miles of hard miles and has never missed a beat. The stock power steering pump gave up at 200k miles doing 4wd donuts in a field and stock fuel pump gave out at 215, other than that there have been absolutely no mechanical failures with this truck EVER. Greatest vehicle I have ever owned and will continue to be driven hard. Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Like A Rock! — honestly its the best truck ive ever owned it has awesome acceleration and will win races. the body style is one of a kind and i wouldn't take anything else off road. only downside is gas mileage in the city but all in all ITS A CHEVROLET.....enough said | ||

Its Perfect — 2" leveling kit, 33" Pro Comp Mud Terrains. 3" flow master exhaust. Everyday driver. Gas mileage sucks, because of the drastic tire change. Went from 245/70/16 to 305/70/16. Interior in perfect condition except rip in drivers set. exterior decent shape. I dont baby this truck at all. It is a work truck. LOL. Primary Use: Commuting to work | ||

A Great Reliable Truck — Great truck has the 6.0L will pull anything i need it to including bobcats, my 20ft cobalt boat, etc. Has almost 200k and still runs like a champ. Only bad is it gets 10mpg no matter how you drive or what/if you haul/tow anything. Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.) | ||

If This Truck Would Have Had A Possi I Would Have Bought It Again — the truck is what I wanted but it doesnt have a possi traction in the rear I always wanted an extended cab this truck is beautiful its maroon in color and it has towing package I would like a fifth wheel ball in the bed with a electric hookup. acceleration is great brakes are are great also I really enjoy driving the truck I would rather drive it than my 2008 buick but the gas sucks Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.) | ||

Tows Great — Well what can I say. It drives like a truck It has a 6.1 liter V8 and has 300 horse power at the wheel. I am in the works of placing a new sound system. 2000 Chevy 2500 — I like it very well overall. It has a lot of power and gets the job done. My truck is fitted with a steel flatbed and is solid. The appearance is very good and has no rust. Mileage is around 10-12 usually but sometimes less. It is overall a good fun truck to drive that will haul just about anything needed to. Primary Use: Commuting to work |
