It's a piece.

It's A Piece. — Performance - HAHA! Quality - WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN ON A CAVALIER!? Appearance - Not too shabby once you hack off that stupid wing. Cost - Jack. Nothing. Fun - I suppose it was fun to drive. You don't worry too much about gas, or hurting it.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Great Commuter And A Perfect College Student Car Or A First Car — Great first car awsome commuter car. excellent on gas i averaged 500kms to a tank in the city. not the peppiest car but it will get you from point a-b everytime. Parts are dirt cheap repairs are simple and i got over 350,000kms out of mine before i scrapped mine due to body cancer in the wheel wells and rockers and floor.

Great Fuel Mileage Vehicle. — This car is a great car for fuel mileage. It is a perfect car for someone wanting to commute back and forth to work or school. Has a sporty look to it and has a sunroof. Maintenance if done properly on this car is very inexpensive. Not a good car for a family unless the kids are big enough to get in and out of the back themselves.

Loud driving noise

My 2000 Chevolet Caviler — I love the way that my car runs. I'll admit that it's a little loud, but I'm pretty sure it's due to the make of the tires. I bought it from a private party with 140,732 miles on it. I've put on almost 12,000 miles and the only thing I've had to fix is a head light. It gets 35 mpg. It came with seats from a Blazer, but they are comfortable. The only problem is they don't have the handy seat belt loop. It's a manual trasmition and I wouldn't trade it for the world.

Frustrating!!!! — Still working on the car! Recently possibly burned up my torque converter!!!! Was driving down the road and it lost power and speed! Sounded like something seized up! Priced a whole new tranny and its gonna run me around $150 or more to replace!

Quick Acceleration If Equipped With The 2.4l Engine. — I'm not big on the 4-door models, unless it's the RARE 4-door fully equipped Z24 model with sunroof. I'm still looking for one any color. I love Cavalier and wish GM would start back making them. I hear some people talk smack about Cavalier. Cavalier has it's share of flaws like any other vehicle, but it is a very reliable vehicle if you maintain it.

A+++++ — I LOVE MY CAR! I don't want to ever get rid of her! I've had her for almost 3 1/2 years and have put over 75,000 miles on her! She would be more fun to drive if she had a manual transmission!

Cons

The Color but can easily be changed

Nice Sporty Car For Chevy!!! — I love this car even though I dont like Silver Cars hence the nickname the "Silver Bullet" If I had more money I would have put more Modifications into it. Not that I recommend racing but lets just say I can get off to a quick start when Im @ a green light... Never had any problems even when other cars or modified I can still have them in my dust lol...... Drive Safe!!!

Pros

Fuel efficiency

Cons

Brake wear, acceleration

Cavalier — The Cavalier was my first car, it was a solid car. Very nice on the road, suspension really kicked at times I needed it to. A couple downers, the car lacked acceleration despite the extra 0.4 liters it had over my new car. There were a lot of brake malfunctions with the car. The fuel efficiency was good though. Overall, the cavalier was an okay car, it was very basic and doesn't have many selective features, the Cobalt however is a very nice all around car
