"Granny Car"

00 Buick Century — It's actually my wife's car. Its solid, safe, and durable. The engine is the same as in a Pontiac Grand Prix, so it's got some power with options for more. The stock sound system is fairly powerful. Lots of trunks space.

Pros

Good acceleration, great mileage, accomodating interior, great looking exterior!

Cons

Electrical system, don't like new type windows

Overall, Good. — Still good acceleration, repairs limited to: power windows, electrical (wiring harness) and, radiator leak. Great design interior and exterior, still getting 19-20 in town and 26-28 highway (speed is main differential on highway), excellent EOM parts. I still like it, but it's getting older and not as responsive.

Pros

Decent Gas mileage, Prtetty quick for a granny car, VERY comfortable

Cons

Motor is known for failure, some of the interior seems cheap.

Best Car I've Ever Had — The car is very dependable, I have had it for a while now and it starts everyday. The only thing I have replaced is one tire and an air filter! However the 3100 V6 motor it has is known for intake manifold gasket and head gasket failure which kind of worries me. The car is super easy to drive though and floats down the road, and she has PLENTY of get up when you need it. The cloth seats are really comfortable too. and the car is very spacious, plenty of room for 5, but it will seat 6! The trunk is really big as well. The automatic headlights are awesome, and makes you kind of take the luxury for granted lol. Any ?'s feel free to ask.

Cons

doesn't get up and go

Buick Century — doesn't heat up or cool down fast at all. Slow accelerations. Rides nice though for road trips. Mine has about 300,000 miles on it and have had to put barely anything into it. The electronic windows are starting to go on it and the windshield wiper motor is going out on it. But for the mileage I think it is definitely been worth the money.

Cons

Its a GM

Great Gramma Car! — Well! It's a gramma car! but it gets great gas mileage, and has all the options I want except for leather and a sunroof! It has a pretty good stereo considering it's all factory. It's built fairly good, and it rides very nicely! The acceleration is great off the line but it seems to fall short once it gets to 60km/h. There are a few adjustments I would like to make to the cars appearance such as after market rims, and window tint! But that will come later. Over all considering what I need a vehicle for, it fits into my life almost perfectly!

Couldn't Be Any Better! — As technically my first car I love it! It is very comfortable. I paid $800.00 for it in March 2011 with unknown mileage a gas gauge that didn't work and needing an O2 sensor. I fixed the odometer to find out that it had about 191,000 miles when i bought it. I cleared the O2 sensor code and it passed inspection. I drove it until mid august without having to do anything before replacing the O2 sensor because it was starting to get a hesitation problem. I got a new one and that went right away. In the summer the air conditioning still worked it just needed to be re-charged. (lost freon since it's higher miles and older which is normal) Then it blew ice cold but took a minute to get there since after all it does have a lot of miles. It has very good heat and does not take that long to warm up in the winter time. That combined with good tires this car is excellent in the snow! Plows through the foot we recently got like nothing. Overall this has been a very good car for me and has never not started and has never broken down. It is all original and it's all mine. I probably won't sell it and will probably drive it until it gets irreparable which won't happen because it's a Buick. Oh and for being a large car with a decent amount of weight it gets decent gas mileage as well. :)

Great Car For Any Demographic — I bought this car to drive during the spring to fall seasons. The car saves me a great deal of gas mileage over the 4WD S-10. The controls for the radio are located on the steering wheel, & are very convenient. The cruise control is also easy to use.

Great Car But Had An Interest In Color Change — Only changing cars due to desire for a newer model and different color Everything about this car is great and even my service station and the dealers have commented that it is a great car. Very comfortable seats and lots of space. Easy to drive and gives you the safety of driving a bigger car other than an SUV. More luxury.

Practical, Safe Car — I inherited this car from my father after he passed away. It is a very smooth, comfortable car to drive and gets awesome gas mileage. Took a long trip and got 32 miles per gallon. Very good with a V6. My 16 year old son loves it.

Mundane — Solid car all around. Nothing to special about it. Rust likes to build along rocker panels and on gas trank door. Suspension absords just about anything, perfect for long highway road trips. Good V-6 sound when air box is replaced with a cone filter.
