Pros

Great gas mileage. Easy to handle. Fun to drive.

Cons

Not a lot of leg room for taller people.

Rav 4 — I have never had any problems with my RAV4. It has been a very dependable car that helps conserve gas. I can typically travel over 400 miles on 1 tank of gas with a combination of city and highway.

basically just the speakers that i put in

Cons

power and space

Average — great car has a lot of good qualities but for me it falls short in the power department and backseat is to small otherwise it runs great handles good and has good mpg and would be good for only a small family

Rav4-99 — It has nice function to help with power, however not extremely powerful. the only downside is the amount of passenger space in the back seat. Severe engine repair could be a hassle, but it rarely has reason to need such heavy repair.

Pros

It is a SUV but small and compact, it is a Toyota so it will last a lifetime

Cons

Not a lot of Acceleration

45

Good Car For College Students — The acceleration isn't very much, the breaks work well but they squeak when wet. Overall though it is a good car for being 10 years old. Some people can't believe it works so well for being 10 years old. It has only been repaired once since I have had it and that was just to put new back breaks in. It is only like 20 dollars to fill it up and that lasts me about a week and a half.

Cons

A bit small for me but I'm 6'4"

I Call It My White Rat. — It's the other thing that will survive a nuclear explosion. Unbelievable reliability. Great gas mileage for a 15 year old 4WD SUV. It's not great to look at. I will always continue to have that kind of quality vehicle in my family.

Pros

Compact, tough little truck, dependable (so far)

Cons

Underpowered, totally crappy, unacceptable garbage rims that aren't fit for a wheelbarrow

75

All Year Ride — Great little rig. Underpowered and a little noisey, but dependable & good all around vision. The rims are awful. I've had 4 crack. Toyota refuses to do anything. The Dept. of Transport are afraid of Toyota. In my opinion a major safety hazard & terrible design flaw. Toyota rides on their " we can do no wrong reputation? If you plan to buy one, go get aftermarket rims like I had to do after buying two Toyota replacements.

Pros

Reliability, great gas mileage, can be equipped to be flat towed behind an RV (manual shift only), fun to drive, with decent tires and a small lift can do some light off-roading

Cons

Rear drum brakes, road noise, seats could be a little more comfortable, rather plain looking old girl

Good Car If You Enjoy A Little Camping And Off-roading — Overall I enjoy the RAV4 and while she's not the prettiest girl at the prom with a little dressing up she just might turn a head or two. I've installed several mods that make her handle better, off-road worlds better, and look much better. Brakes are my only real complaint , the Japanese, Australian, and some European versions have disc brakes that weren't even an option here, WHY? I work outdoors all over the place often driving on "jeep" trails and cross country and so far she's done well. She's no jeep but she hasn't gotten stuck yet. Handles well in the rain, haven't tried it on snow or ice yet.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Peppy La Su — my only complaint is that it's noisy on the highway... as i'm not on the highway very often, i can happily live with it (and just crank the music a notch). i also find that it steams up in winter and sometimes hard to see the side views. i love my Rav4!

Good quality car

Cons

No boot space with it being 3dr

35

Toyota Rav4 Heat — My second car, was really nippy and handled well on the road. Still got the car after 10yrs and is still in good condition. Performance and maintaince is fair not too costly but wanted a car with more power behind it.

My Thoughts — I havent been able to drive it around on my own. but when i've had the chance to take it out for a spin its hasn't failed me yet. the sound system is great. the only thing i dislike is that the engine isn;t insulated. but overal i love it.
