Prosit just looks small and mean, perfect for offroad chicks. ;-) Consslippery roads it just spins real quick on 2 wheel drive because off the short wheelbase.

Offroader With A Plus. — perfect car for light offroad work, engine is strong enough for this lightweight to drag it up hills.not a long distence car but if it should it can!terrible on slippery roads on just 2 wheel drive(spinns out pretty quick).fun car and my wife just loves it,specially in the summer with the cab off(topless). Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) |

Better Than The Big Ones! — I had a 1997 2 door soft top, pretty good car, GREAT off road, would be fun to watch the big guys struggle to fit in tight places and sink in the mud while i would just fly past, the only issues were the seams in the roof were coming loose a bit and highway performance, not great at 100km/hr plus. revs way to high and fuel consumption goes up, better on roads that are 80km/hr. Not the best handler at speed either, but htat's not what it was built for. very fun car otherwise, comfortable and good on fuel, for it's time it was a great little car. only repairs were new clutch and fuel pump which did nearly kill me as it cut out as i was crossing a very busy road. |

Great Little 4x4! — I absolutely love my Suzuki! Before it I owned the older version of it (1990 Geo Tracker) and it was such a rock solid vehicle that I bought this one- and I wasn't disappointed. It is great on gas (I get about 550K from a 45L tank- so approx 9L/100K) and super fun to drive in the summer with the roof off. It also performs very well in the winter in 4 wheel drive, and although I haven't done much off roading in this one, it has been capable of everything I have put it through so far. My only complaints about it are that it is slow on acceleration and the manual transmission is geared so low that when I'm doing 120K/H in fifth, the engine is screaming at 3500rpm. Aside from the fact that it's not built for lots of highway driving, its a great vehicle and I'd recommend it to anyone who asked! |

Suzuki Vitara And The Skinny Pedal On The Right — The Suzuki Vitara struggles to pull the skin off a rice pudding. Performance around the 'burbs is barely adequete. However......get it into the sand and it comes into its own. Suddenly it becomes a fun car, in the environment it was built for. It floats like a butterfly, stings like a bee....making light work of Landcruisers , Patrols and other such heavy vehicles. |

ProsThe way it handles well both in city and in off-road situations ConsNot that good for transporting stuff or people...

Very Good For It's Money — My father owns one. It has 500 000 km on it... It is almost indestructible! We use it for a family car, for off-road, for utility vehicle... It's a all around car if you're a couple at maximum... If you're a family with more than tree people it's not a suitable car for you... Primary Use: Family transportation |

ProsYou can park this car ANYWHERE. It turns on a dime. ConsThe inside door handles are plastic, and break easily.

I Love This Car!!! — Odometer shows 137000 miles, but the timing chain broke last year on the freeway, doing 75 mph, and cracked the heads. I replaced it with a refurbished engine. Have only put 17000 miles on it since then. It's a beautiful blue. I have loved this car since I got it. Primary Use: Family transportation |

ProsIt's fun, not too big, not too small ConsTraffic jam prone areas, on a hurry somewhere

It's A Good Car — It's actually a fun car to drive and I personally think that it's quite great when going round a corner. As it's quite an old car, the automatic gear shifts a bit slow but once it reaches the top gear, it's like a breath of fresh air. :) Appearance wise, I think that it still looks good amongst other good lookin' 4WDs & SUVs on the roads. The fuel consumption is pretty high, especially when driving through busy roads & speeding on highways. Primary Use: Family transportation |

Get 1 — on the road it handles like the q e 2 in a force 10 in the Atlantic but as you get off the black stuff and slow things down in the boggy soggy mud ridden country we live in the good old SUZUKI comes into its own with a poky 2.0 desile turbo intercooler the little truck comes into its own and with the added bonus of never ending fun as standerd i think suzis are the best for the mud o yea you can play round with them cheap and easy chip them to nearly 200bhp with neary 400 tourqe not bad also bigger turbos and intercoolers lift kits and such lkike youl be eatin landy all day on and off road Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.) |
