Prosstylish, good on gas, it's a subaru :) Consnot a 6 cyl, cloth interior collects dirt

My Subaru Sus — It's not nearly as sporty enough for my taste. It's a 4 cyl., so it's good on gas, but does not have enough pick up. Definitely looks like a college student's car, Stockton stickers included. It's a cute little car though and Subarus are very reliable. It's a fun car for a teenager but factory stereo was a must-replace.

ProsManual Tranny + AWD + 4 cyl ConsRepair costs

Not As Reliable As The Toyota, But More Soul — Love the syling. Love the look of a wagon. Manual + 4 cyl + AWD is win in my book. So far I have had to make extensive repairs. Engine has been replaced, brakes will need to be done, rear window wiper is gone, clunk in front end, list goes on and on. 230k on the clock so what can I expect ? Primary Use: Commuting to work

ProsIts looks awesome. Lowered on nice mags. ConsUses to much fuel and the gearbox is struggling after 220k.

1999 Subaru Legacy 250t — Its lowered and 4wd so it handles well. Done 220k so performance has dropped off a bit. Well build and very comfortable to drive. Great stereo but uses a bit too much fuel now. Overall I love Subies and this is a decent one. Will go back to the turbo version next time Primary Use: Family transportation

Great Big Estate Best Car I Have Had So Far — living in scotland with the scottish weather the way it is and the very poor road conditons, my subaru (big baby) i feel is the safest and most practical car to own.the poor mpg goes out the window when the winter hits and i can still get to work everyday, when outhers that rely on public transport have to take time of. overall car looks and drives great. She's A Sleeper. — Basically stock besides engine swap. Stock exterior and interior. Performance is pretty amazing. 266 awhp and 260 lb/tq. before turbo and fuel upgrade. Suspension is similar to that of a Cadillac, she floats. This will change in the near future. Primary Use: Commuting to work

Perfect Car For Utilitarian/outdoor Lifestyle — Great car, love it in the winter, perfect for Utah and Moscow. Goes good on the freeway, lots of passing power with good mpg. Cheap to maintain, never breaks down. Fun to drive, gets me where I need to go. Primary Use: Commuting to work

Love This Car! — I absolutely love this car. I took it to Illinois and back the summer with no problems what-so-ever. It's fairly cheap to drive since the gas mileage is so good. It handles great in the snow and is very comfortable. What more could I ask for? Primary Use: Family transportation

Subaru — Roomy, Compact, AWD, Hood scoop (not functional though), Spoiler(might be functional), Gold Wheels, and it was $5,000. Seats go down in the back 60/40, Boxer rumble, the engine compartment is logically laid out and easy to replace parts yourself. Primary Use: Commuting to work |
