Prosaccelerates fast for a sable pretty evenly moves through the gears. the car handles well through turns and at top speeds feels very solid still under the extra stresses. the car gets decent gas mileage at 32 mpg roughly for me. it looks a bit like a bubble but it has potential if modified a bit. Consthe brakes suck from the factory. the wiring harness can be a bear to mess with because theres 6 different layouts possible. my doors won't lock automatically and a door senor shorts out constantly.

A From The Factory Sleeper That Given The Chance Will Soon Become Your Best Friend. — my mercury sable has the 24 valve DOHC duratec 6 cylinder engine with about 205 horsepower. It can hold its own on the interstate and has that extra bit of power when needed. the design of the seats cradles you to where you don't even feel the seat under you. I have never had a serious problem with the car. the engine performs great but the brakes could be better.

I Love My First Car. I Am Proud Of It. — My first car. I kinda knew it wouldn't go fast so I put in an amazing stereo system. It has 16 speaker and 3 amps. Everything is custom. I made everything. I did all the lights. I had a remote start system installed. It just turned over to 60,000 miles. Its pretty loaded with sun roof and leather and stuff. I love it. Primary Use: Commuting to work | ||

Mercury Sable Ls Sedan — Sable is a sleeper, it looks like a family sedan but the V6 24V rips through the streets. Its an all around amazing car. Fast, luxury, comfort, roomy, and has many options. Ford made a very good car with this one. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) | ||

My Baby — performance is excellent for this type of car-she aint a mustang but shes still fun to drive. accelerates pretty good, stops well even in snow, handles well too.never needed major repairs (except when my brother wrecked her), looks sharp (exterior), the interior is functional but could be better. good mileage, hardly any maintenance cost. and yes, she is fun to drive for a 4door | ||

Great Family Car — The only complaint I had other than the transmission was that if I wanted to change the CD I had to stop the vehicle, get out and then get in the trunk to do so. I liked almost everything about the car. It ran well and worked as it should for the most part. It was a plus that it had a 24V DOHC Engine in it because this car actually had pretty good speed for the type of car that it was. It felt like luxury to me. Primary Use: Family transportation | ||

Excellent — it handles great, has small exhaust leak but performance overall is great! Very clean interior some rust on outside but that's to be expected from Michigan cancer! No leaks, everything works, has great heat, tires are fairly new and looks great!! Primary Use: Family transportation | ||
