ProsV-8 power with decent mileage, nice body style, not overly large ConsToo few aftermarket parts

Excellent Little S.u.v.!!! — The only thing I don't like is the lack of aftermarket parts for the 5.0 liter option in this car. Getting a cold air kit and a free flowing exhaust would help the power and mileage. I have yet to find anything that I need it to do that it can't. It tows medium sized trailers easily, it pulls most anything very nicely. Service isn't a problem, oil changes are quick and easy, chassis lubrication isn't much worse, some of the grease zerks can be a pain, but not too bad. All in all, an easy to own and easy to maintain vehicle.

ProsThis SUV has plenty of room to take long or short trips. The leather seats are very comfortable, easy to clean and hold up to a lot of use. Gas milage is not bad. V8 motor has plenty of power out on the road or hauling a small trailer or boat. On icy roads it handles great with the AWD feature, acceleration and braking is instant. ConsGas milage is low due to large engine. Averages 19 mpg

This Vehicle Is Great And Is Very Versatile — I really like the tape recorder on the visor for small details or grocery lists. The AWD on bad road conditions is wonderful. You don't have to think about if you need to put it in four wheel drive or not, it automatically does it for you before its too late. The V8 power is wonderful out on the road trying to pass or pulling small trailers. Over all it is a great vehicle for family or working. Primary Use: Family transportation

ProsGreat engine - comfy and versatile interior - decent off road capabilities ConsThirsty - fuel tank not big enough - bouncy ride

My First Company Car In The Us - 4x4 - 5.0l V8 - Ideal For Michigan Winter Driving — The 5.0L V8 engine was great although the auto transmision had a bit of lag when downshifting. As with most SUV's of that time, ride was crap (very bouncy) and handling wasn't great either as it rolled quite a bit. Was great off-road though... Unfortunately couldn't choose colour and ended up driving an ambulance...

My Ride =] — Performance is great and very smooth for a big suv. Quality is one of the best, its so much better than the new car qualities. This is like those 1970s chevelles and mustangs. Appearance is real hot in and out. Gas mileage isnt the best but its not the worst. This car is definitely fun to drive anywhere and anyday =] Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) |
