Wonderful Car To Drive-felt Like I Was Sitting In My Living Room — This car has it all. It was a dream to drive, the quality was like none other--windows were so thick you felt like you were sitting in your living room. The style is consistent with what one expects from a leader. It's worth every dime.

My First European Auto — I bought this car in 2008 with 56,000 miles on it. Since then it has only had a hand full of special maintenance cost to keep it in tip top shape. It has been a very reliable car for the most part nonetheless it's just that parts are high.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Top Quality Touring Vehicle With Plenty Of Style To Match The Performance. — Premium automotive experience in my opinion. Everything about my S500 screams quality and performance. I am pleased with the mileage although I made a mistake by changing out the OE wheels to add some stylish (not garish) 20" color matched wheels which caused me to have to change out the tires once a year at $1200 a clip. Aside from that and some pretty costly maintenance I am very pleased with this vehicle.

Pros

Ride comfort
In car technology is amazing
Sat nav runs off its own hard drive so no loading times and more detailed maps/ instructions.
Fast for a diesel- Honestly didnt feel much slower than the new cl500 we borrowed.

Cons

diesel sound
not very pretty
Every1 asks why u didnt get s500 or s65 lol
cant harden up air suspension like you could on the old s class

Motorway Car — Sort of car that drives you rather than you driving it. Suspension is soft and inside the car is very comfortable. The Brabus engine pack makes this funny fast for a diesel.

Lovely Car To Own, Expensive To Maintain — I've owned this car for over 5 years and I find it to be will designed and constructed. I will say however, that anything that goes wrong with car ends up being at least $800 to repair. Luckily the car hasn't given me many problems. I'm thinking of getting rid of it because I believe the transmission may be on its way out. The car has approximately 85K. The only real problem thus far is the air conditioning compressor, which of course cost $800 to repair. Other than that, I've tuned it and replaced to front brakes, and replaced the tires. But I have to admit, the car is awesome to drive, and it has a very quality feel to it, from the interior materials, to the sound of the doors when you close them. I've never been in an American car that came even close in the quality department.

It's a Mercedes Benz and it drives and runs like as one would.

Cons

Basic maintenance cost can be very expensive... This why I do most of it myself to save a bit on the pocket book.

Well Worth The Money! — I must say that I do like this car more then most. I am looking forward to getting my next Benz and I never thought I would have said that until I owned one for myself... It does handle like a dream to be a big and heavy car.

One Of The Magnificents! — I like everything about this car. Maybe the ride on side ,or rough roads could be smoother. As it has low profile tires that came as the original size tires and rims.On the freeways ,great ride, solid and strong, powerful and steady with very little outside noise. Adjustable seats with the push of a button.
