Pros

Cheap

Cons

SLow, handles terribly, uncomfortable, styling sucks

Cheap, Get What You Pay For — Why bother with a mustang unless it is a Cobra? Even then, it is still likely a wast of time.

Pros

Sleek car with very little maintenance.

Cons

Could ride a little smoother and get better fuel economy, but neither is too bad considering it's a sports car.

A Nice Overall Car — People seem to always look when you drive up in a Mustang, and that is true with this one as well. It performs and accelerates well for a V-6, and the only major repair we have had done in 6 years was having the secondary air pump replaced, which was less than $250.

Primary Use: Family transportation

99 Mustang Convertible — Overall good car fast & stylish but not a good primary car. This car should be a second car for joy riding on weekends and evenings. I would recommend this car to anyone who loves fast cars at a great price.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

A Classic — I loved my mustang. It was the funnest car I ever had in my life especially being in my 20's. Everyone always wanted to ride in my car going to parties and even if the back seat was not the biggest everyone made due.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

A Thrill To Drive Around — This car is fast and has never caused me any trouble. The only downfall is it is a summer car, I only take it our of storage for the summer because it wouldn't make it in the snow. If you money to blow on a fun sports car the Mustang GT convertible is the car for you.

Pros

Its probably the most fun you can have in a car by yourself

Cons

If you really don't care what you drive

55

Drive One — I love it. Mine is lowered an inch and a half all the way around and it handles like a dream. That, coupled with a nice set of performance tires and it does 0-60 faster than should be legal and can still stop on a dime. I bleed Ford blue, but even I have to admit that the build quality leaves a bit to be desired. However, all problems have been superficial so far. As long as you are religious about maintenance it runs like a clock. It is definitely not a car you buy with your mind, its something you buy with your heart. Terrible gas mileage, not very versatile, and has some massive blind spots with the top up, but I wouldn't trade it for anything else on the road.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

This Is An Amazing Looking Mustang — I love my mustang! I am very particular about everything on my car, This is my first mustang and I would love to buy another one some day. People seem to always look when I drive up in my Mustang and it is a comfortable ride for a sports car it has great acceleration handling smooth braking and gets amazing gas mileage. I know it sounds crazy but unless your a mustang owner, you wouldn't know what I mean, So a word of advise to every one go get you a Mustang.

Every One Needs To Go Out And Get A Mustang And Find Out For There Self! — The 1999 35th Anniversary Mustang even with a 3.8 V6 it still has quick acceleration and great fuel economy, 4 wheel disc brakes will stop you on a dime, Traction control for great handling on wet and dry roads and in the curves, This mustang is pure American muscle and with its clean sleek style is still an American icon. This mustang is 14 years old and can still turn heads and can keep up with the best of them. The only thing I don't care about with the mustang is it only has a 15.70 Gallon fuel tank, Cargo capacity for the Luggage on a long trip and its small back seat and plus it is a Cop magnet! This car is well built and last forever, I love my mustang! I am very particular about everything on my car, This is my first mustang and I would love to buy another one some day. I know it sounds crazy but unless your a mustang owner you wouldn't know what I mean, So a word of advise to every one go get you a Mustang.

Broken, But Not Defeated — My fav car I've ever owned! Its fantastic pickup (esp. considering it's a 6-cyl.), great handling, & solid body construction saved my life when some moron driving a borrowed Ram with no insurance & a suspended license ran a red & nearly t-boned me. If I would have been in a lesser car, I would be dead now. Unfortunately, my car paid the price. I had to buy the salvage, but my body guy did an amazing job. It isn't perfect like it was (only had 1 door ding, & no rust), & I had to scrap the plan to sink another engine in it when this one finally goes, but at least I have my car back! I missed it while it was gone! It's a lot of fun to drive! The only drawback is it only gets about 22 mpg combination of city/country miles, & I have to borrow a friend's SUV when I go camping - no room for gear, of course. But hey, that's only for a couple of days per year - the rest of the time, my 'stang reigns!
