The Price Is Down On These, Pick One Up For Fun ! — Next to the H1, Defender and Cherokee this is one of the best off-road vehicles made. With minor upgrades this vehicle can get you in some serious trouble ! This is one of the last 4x4's that can be worked on by a shade tree mechanic. It Was A Pleasure — Loved this SUV from the beginning. And, it was reliable for many years. The transmission was replaced once and I ended up trading it because it was going out again. Because it was over ten years old, it was time to trade instead of sink more money into it. Quite a few parts were replaced through the years. Can't remember them all, but overall the vehicle was one of the best I've ever had. | ||

Its Not A Bad Suv. — It is a gas pig but it will pull a house from its foundation. It has the 5.9l 4x4 w/392 gears. I am disappointed with mopars rusting issues and their idea of fixing the rust under the manufacture warranty. Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.) | ||

ProsLove the body style, the looks, big tires, 4x4, plenty of space inside for my daughter and her friends and whatever else I need to transport. 5.9 360 :-), Power to spare. Clean user friendly cockpit, cup holders for those kids that aren't thirsty until they get in the car. ConsTransmission, Transmission and ohhh, did I mention the Transmission.... 4 speed + O/D. Supposedly it was rebuilt just before I bought it, Not shifting into 4th or O/D with out having to shift to neutral, let the rpms drop below 1K then go back to drive and it shifts. Could be minor problem with sensors.... Hoping so!!! If it doesn't have an external cooler for Tranny, get one. Keep fluids and filter changed with only dealer supplied transmission filters and ATF+4 only.

Feel Like A Kid In A Life Size Tonka Toy — Keep your transmission in check as well as changing your fluids as scheduled and she'll not let ya down. High maint. cost, but worth it. Interior has plenty of room for hauling whatever or how many ever. Use cruise control when possible to get every bit of mpg's as you can. Bought my 99 in 2012, 137000 miles and is still super clean inside, no cracked dash or borken plastic hear or there. Good interior quality. Only four speaker stereo system. If you like your tunes as I do, go after market with speakers and stereo. Handles great, stops on a dime, surprisingly tight turning radius. Thought it would be like turning a tank, but found it to be like any mid size car as far as the room needed to turn around or maneuver. Primary Use: Family transportation | ||

Think The Wife Likes It More Then Me. — It goes awesome if fuel mileage was more then 12 mpg i would like it so much better. I purchased it for $900 at the junk yard done a couple of bolt on modifications new custom exhaust tie rod and a belt tensioner. Its Great Family Truck As Well As A Daily Comute — i liked it that its a mid size truck that has the power of a full size. the 3 row seats & that they,ll lay down flat. could use some better gas milage, but for comfort, looks & dependability i really like this suv. only reson to sell it is to get into a full size 4 door truck for hauling & towing. Love It So Far Minus The Few Issues Ive Had — I don't dislike a lot. Its a prety solid truck. I have a straight pipe on mine and love tue sound. I plan on puttin duel exahust on it so it not so loud but that its got a deep rumble to it. I give it a 9outa10 so far. Primary Use: Commuting to work | ||

This Car Is Great With The Family Because Of The Space. — I like that there is a 8 passenger seats. Performance is excellent, but the muffler off, so it will be replaced. It has been repaired to good condition. Appearance is great. MPG is 14/18 Miles. This car is excellent to drive Primary Use: Family transportation |
