ProsLong lasting, dependaple, never had a major repair in 168K miles. Does not leak a drop of oil. Every item is working. ConsNo 4th door on drivers side.

Like A Rock — Great truck! Has never caused me a moments problem. I am religious about Preventive Maintenance. I still enjoy driving it. The only thing I had to replace in twelve years was the front door speakers Replacing a headlight takes less than two minutes. I am a Chevy Truck fan for life because of this rig. Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

ProsI've had my Silverado since late 2004. Never had any problems and she's always came thru for me thru thick and thin. I love it. Started out with 45K, now has 108K as of 4/30/2013. ConsGas mileage, mainly, but still not horrible for a full size truck.

She's Been Awesome, But Looking For More "muscle" — Mainly, she has more sentimental value than anything. I lost my mother early 2004 and was left with a small inheritance. In need of a vehicle, I used the inheritance for the truck so its like the last thing my mother bought for me. Primary Use: Commuting to work | ||

Great Truck — Excellent truck. Great mpg for a v-8. Great towing power. Pulls my 7000# boat as fast as I want to go. Great comfort and room for long trips. Maint. had been almost nill. Still reliable with 150,000 miles on it. Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.) | ||

Great Truck. — Performance: Great truck. Nice engine in it. Has great acceleration. Brakes are good. Good handling. Could have a better turn radius but it works! This truck is soooo much fun to drive. It has a good appearance, both interior and exterior. Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.) | ||

Nice Weekend Truck — My truck is a good weekend work horse. It gets about 16 mpg but has enough power to pull all my toys. I want to upgrade the engine so get better gas millage and more power. Its great for carrying everything from wood, to furniture. Its a great truck for sure. | ||

ProsI love the look of my vehicle it has a custom motor with a super charger in it it has a custom stereo wit 15 inch sub woofers in it and it has custom 22inch rims on it Consit is very hard to keep clean and is not very good on gas

My Awesom Truck — I got the extended cab for truck comfort fits all 3 of us. Went on 600mi. drive and used 1 tank of fuel Grey cloth interior silver exterior THE TRUCK IS AWESOME TO DRIVE NOT BOUGHT FOR DAILY DRIVER ONE GREAT TRUCK Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) | ||

Great Truck! — Great truck with plenty of power out of the 5.3 L. I changed the appearance with a 3in body lift, 17' KMC wheels and 33x12.5 cooper tires. I have much more to add but for now I have the major points covered. Great overall truck. I love my truck and would recommend a chevy to anyone. Like It — i like just about everything about this truck very dependable and trust worthy will go any where and looks good doing it. the whole family likes driving it and it tows the atvs very well just wish it was a four door Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.) |
