Lumina Ltz Sedan — very good car overall. solid and long lasting with a great suspension. the Monte Carlo engine and exaust makes this car powerful and very easy to drive. no lack of passing power. good for familys and younger drivers hoping for a nice car with low insurance costs. Primary Use: Family transportation

ProsI had a 1991 before this one and it ran to 250,000 miles and was still going when I traded it for this 1999 LTZ and I think it will do the same. ConsI should have gotten a darker coler of leather seats because the tan is harder to keep clean.

1999 Chevrolet Lumina 4 Dr Ltz Sedan — Smooth and comfortable ride, great acceleration, braking and handling in any weather. In the 11 years I've owned it I have replaced the battery, alternator, brakes, one headlight and wiper blades. Change oil and filter every 5,000 miles, had transmission fluid, filter and spark plugs changed at 97,000 miles. Fuel mileage is 20 city and 30-32 highway. Primary Use: Family transportation

Wish I Had Another — This was my favorite car I've ever owned. Never had a problem with it mechanically and the lines on the car we're beautiful. The interior was simple which was much appreciated. Car could outrun most 6 cylinder 'stangs and any Civics it came across. Would buy another one in a heartbeat. Primary Use: Commuting to work

Chevy Lumina Ls — My car has the GM 3100 V6, one of the most reliable engines out there. I've had this car for ten years and it has given me excellent service. It has room for five average adults. The power is nice, snappy especially for a big car. The gas mileage is nice, still near 30mpg with over 100k on it. The only negative point I have about my Lumina is the brakes. Stopping power is much weaker than I would like. I think discs all around would be a big improvement.

One Of The Most Underrated Cars Of All Time — Chevrolet Lumina's are one of the most underrated cars ever. They do not get the credit that they deserve. My car runs just like new, and I would trust it to drive anywhere, even though it has over 130,000 miles on it. The interior is very roomy and comfortable, and the trunk is huge! The engine is great on gas mileage, but it has the power there if you need it in a hurry. Overall, a great and reliable car.

One Of The Best Cars I've Ever Had, And I Don't Even Own It! — My parents own a 1999 Lumina LTZ with the basic interior, nothing fancy, and i'm the one that drives it. They bought it in 2000 and have driven it out of state many different times. It now has over 117000miles on its odometer
