1999 Chevrolet Blazer Ls 2door 4x4 Review — Performance is great as the 4.3L v6 has lots of get up and go for the SUV. braking is great with 4 wheel discs. Handles good but it is an SUV so it is somewhat top heavy. Build quality isn't bad for GM. It is better than my base model S-10 I had. The rear glass hatch vibrates some days when it is below zero. I think the exterior styling is somewhat sporty for this vehicle. Inside it is plain but very functional. It can be a pig on fuel but only when using the 4x4 for most of the day. Otherwise just driving on the road it is fine. I get around 20 mpg but about 17 when using 4x4 a lot or out offroading with it . It is a pretty fun truck to drive. Even more fun playing in snow or mud though. Plus is plenty of room in the back for a sub woofer. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

A Fun Drive — I love my truck to death i have taken it off-roading and for me nothing else compares. I am in the process of getting fully fitted for off-roading. Cant wait to have it all decked out and have tons of fun in it. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) | ||

This Car Im Am Glad To Be My First Car. — This truck as a good reliable engine that will run no matter what. Also for a truck the turning radius is great. Overall if you are looking to have fun in something well having or even not having a family this is the truck. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) | ||

ProsGreat all time 4 wheel drive. Fits anywhere. Powerful 4.3 l v6 and can haul up to 5,000 #. Comfortable enough to take on long trips. Took no time at all to get in and drive off the lot. Easy to work on everything is accessible under the hood. Back seats are comfortable for kids ir adults. Plenty of leg room in front and back for me and my son, I'm. 6'6 and he's 6'2. ConsTurning radius could be better but its a 4 wheel drive suv. it gets 15 mpg in the city but 22its on the highway.

Excellent All Around Mid Size Suv. — No disapointments or dislikes that i can think of. I own 2 1999 Lt and a 2002 Ls both have 4 wheel drive. The one and only regret not realizing how good of a vehicle this is years ago. Thank you for reading this . Primary Use: Family transportation | ||

ProsIts great in the snow, comfortable for me to drive, it looks nice Conswhhhoooo boy. Its going through its maintenance phase, and its killing me. I have never had a vehicle so un user friendly when it comes to repairing it yourself.

Needs A Very Mechanical Person! — I explained above in the pros and cons. For it being such a small engine, it gets terrible gas mileage as well. It has left me stranded more than once, and im huge on preventative maintenance. Its had a fuel pump, water pump, all new front suspension, intake manifold gaskets, coolant temp sensor, mass airflow sensor.... Primary Use: Family transportation | ||

? — gas mileage isn't good but its really fun to drive and its the best thing ive ever drivin in the snow. its also very fast I love this blazer. acceleration is good it is a very fast blazer. IT handles very good in the snow I slide sideways on purpose because I know it has great handling. | ||

My Awesome Blazer... — Just love to cruise around in something that's a total pleasure to drive, and turns heads. Seems to be ok on fuel given the large engine capacity. Plenty of grunt. Freezing cold air con to make the Aussie summer comfy! Primary Use: Family transportation | ||

Great :) — got this truck for free , has 307+ kilometers on it . i use it for a field truck ,i have taken it out in big mud pits , and gone up steep hills . as i do live on like 120 acres . its pretty good on the road too ,i put it into drive , and just touch the gas the tires spin , i got it to 140 kmph pretty quick . few minor problems , ball joints are going , when i park it on a hill and i got slim to none gas in it , it wont start . then when i put gas in it , the gauge goes back and fourth . but overall its a nice truck . Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) |
