1998 Rover 820 Sterling — Known as the "luxo-barge", not the most exciting car in the world to drive. Not particularly quick but the torquey engine made for an easy if not very refined drive. Everything electric, leather interior air con, heated chairs. Had done 168,000 miles when I sold it after buying the Vitesse, to the best of my knowledge its still going now.

1998 Rover 800 Vitesse Coupe — One of the last true british Rovers to come out of Long Bridge. The 2 litre turbo engine kicks out around 200 bhp as standard. Lovely leather interior with wood effect trim. Down side is the poor build quality. Week gear box, and head gasket problems.
