Very reliable, 177 plus still running like new, very little rust, great in the snow

Cons

Extremely difficult to work on, making repair and maintenance costs extremely high because of labor

Ok — I give it 3 stars, its nothing special, would be if it was not so danged hard to work on. 177k plus miles needs some work but had very few problems with it. Sunroof leaks when it rains hard, but only a drop here and there.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Valve tapping noise, Not an actual problem, but worrisome.

Great Car — Great Fuel economy, 24mpg Adequate power - Not goo enough for passing. Spacious - as an a SUV should be. Comfortable - SUV Cheap maintenance - easy to work on, I change the clutch in four hours. Over all a great value for the money.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

tail whips out sometimes w/ the 2wd model

'98 But Awesome!! — its worth $5k but i got it for $1500, the gas mileage on it is amazing!!!! I'm gettin 20-22 mpg in the city!!!!! and its a foreign car so you know ALL the electronics and other accesories work better than perfect!!! i'd totally recommend this suv to whoever is lookin for an older, easy to customize suv to buy!!!!
