Pros

good on gas

Cons

slow as molasses

Not Me — slow, boring, embarassing, annoying, no bolt-on potential unless you wanna stick NOS on it and blow it up for fun. But, its been reliable and its small enough to fit in tight parallel parking spots.... totally whip-able. My little tank.

Pros

You should drive it.

Cons

Not a lot of people fit in this car, but sometimes thats a good thing

Its A Nice Car, I Like It. — The cars alright. It has a lot of potential and mitsubishi engines are really reliable. The clutch is really nice on this car and I'd recommend throwing a short shifter in it. Its kind of on the small side, you can put two people in the back but not comfortably. The engine bay is set up real simple too, perfect if you're looking to do work to it. I like driving it and the car moves if you want it too. Its actually really good on gas and overall fun to drive.

My Car — fast car for fwd but lacking in reliablility. also not the best cornering car but the acceleration makes up for whats lost in turning. tht is about really all i can say for right now about it.. cant wait till this winter

Cons

breaking

Modified Eclipse — performance wise this is a pretty good base car. it is lighter than the turbo model so if it is modified for turbo it will have even better accel. then the turbo model. handeling is great have a good solid feel for the road. braking could be a little better ... or maybe i just have bad breaks ... only needed to replace the fuel pump at 110.000 miles

semi prone to needing repairs

2g Dsm 1998 — The overall car is very good for ten years old a lot of the engine has been upgraded for mild racing with an all engine build. The quality of the car is good but being a DSM it is prone to needing repairs. Appearance is nice. Overall I love all DSMs and they are a blast to drive.

Pros

potential of so much in all area's of tuning amazing to look at and a joy to own and drive

Cons

thirsty for petrol, parts are expensive due to you HAVE to get most of them from america.

35

Eclipse Gs-t — great car to drive and own only normal wear and tear to maintain drinks alot of petrol but what american car doesnt lol. lots of tuning potential as its an evo III engine 4g63t but 7bolt can be prone to crankwalk 95-96 models more then 97-99. amazing car and turns sooo many heads even next to ferrari's only 1 of 9 eclipse's in the u.k!

Pros

It's fast and fun to drive.

Cons

It takes a while to warm up.

Eclipse! — It's given me some problems. Like the first night I had it the shift/select cable broke. And I've had to replace a few headlight bulbs. But other than that it's fun to drive, especially since it's stick and it's very sharp looking. I have a carbon fiber hood on it as well as aftermarket headlights, tail-lights and exhaust. It's actually a 1996 but it has a 1998 front end conversion after it got in an accident. Inside I have custom glow gauges and racing seat belts.

Pros

21 MPG in the City and 35+ MPG on the highway never looked better! Neither Does 330whp.

Cons

It's about 11 years old, thing's break.

Great Car — I bought the car in May of 2007. First I blew up 3 valves in the head, then I blew up the clutch, then I blew the turbo and finally the motor blew up. The motor has been rebuilt with stage 2 internals, and the turbo and clutch have been replaced. The car is great to drive when it's not broken... All in all it's been a great car, it's a ton of fun to drive and the turbo lag is like foreplay. Way to much fun.
