ProsDecent ride ConsToo many to list

I Don't Know If I'd Consider Another Ford After This Car. — In the 8 months I've had this car, I've put about $3,000+ into it. Struts, bearings, ball joints, tie rods, brakes, brake calipers, muffler, heat core has been flushed a good 6 times and finally works (and there is more, I can't remember it all) and it only has 66k, most of these repairs coming before 60k. Repairs it still needs. Transmission line leak going into the radiator, and the catalytic converters are rotted (part is $400-$600, not counting labor). I will more than likely NEVER buy a Ford after owning this FINE piece of American ingenuity. Cheap interior.. Dashboard is splitting apart. Looks AWESOME. Primary Use: Commuting to work

Proslow cost to purchase Cons21.5 mpg - the car is overpowered

Fun Car To Drive, Lots Of Power - Mpg Is Lower Than It Should Be — Its a nice car, way more than enough power. Handles well in the corners and it is very easy to get it over 80 mph. The RPM's should be lower at highway speed, that is why it only gets 21.5 as a avg mpg. Would buy again, it has been a dependable car. Primary Use: Commuting to work

ProsNice ride, good drive. ConsTranny's are famous for going bad.

Good Drive, Ford Tranny. Won't Own Another Because Of The Auto Tranny Issues. — I liked this car, was comfortable, had power everything. Engine was ok, ran strong enough, tranny on these cars SUCKS. I had a roommate who had a Taurus about the same year and both our Trannys went out the same week. Checking with the junk yard they didn't have a single good tranny, all the ones they had were there BECAUSE of the tranny. Could even sell it to a junk yard, they said they all had 15 of these cars that ran but be tranny was out. Ford auto trannys for ya.

A Soon To Be Cult Classic — amazing power for the money has 24v dohc cam duratec engine, makes 225hp, 0-100kph in 7.3 seconds, handles very well for size minimal body roll, excellent Goodyear triple treads for traction, styling could be best described as "sleeper" subtle styling points that the average person wouldn't notice, averages 26.3-7 mpg commuting from janesville and back everyday, great fun for the money, put the hammer down at any speed and expect to be put back in your seat Primary Use: Commuting to work

Prosgood gas mileage Consits ugly and has no power

Dont Get It Unless You Have No Choice — great gas mileage but ugly car, only good if you need a car and dont mind being robbed of power and luxury. The only good thing I got out of it was having a car that was it nothing was worth having about it Primary Use: Commuting to work
