ProsExcellent in snow, even in 2WD, low maintenance and repairs, fun to drive, decent gas mileage. ConsDidn't really experience any negatives while I had this truck.

Great Compact Truck! — This truck performed great. Acceleration was great - partly thanks to the manual transmission. Braking and handling were fine too. Very sturdy quality - nothing had broken when my lease ended at 78,000 miles and 4 years. Exterior appearance was pretty good, aside from the ugly tan stripe along the side. Interior was decent, with tan cloth seats and tan dashboard. This truck was built by Ford, so it was basically a Ranger with different labeling. Gas mileage was decent for a 4WD pickup, anywhere between 18-26mpg probably. There wasn't much I had to do for it while I owned it, aside from typical maintenance. This truck would plow through deep snow with ease, and even handled well in snow while still in 2WD. Plus, you could shift into 4WD on the fly, which was great while on the road. It was lots of fun to drive, especially with the stick shift. I really loved this truck and hope to get another one like it someday!

Its A Good Truck. I Would Recommend To People. — i like the truck. it's a good solid built little thing. just not good in wet grass if not 4x4. the truck is a 2.5 4 cylinder. its got great gas mileage, but not real acceleration and isn't the best on power. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) | ||

Great Truck But Take Something Else If You're Going On A Road Trip — I had this truck when I was in my early 20's and i loved to take it out in the sand. It was all stock I didn't wheel seriously but it stayed well on top of the sand, never bogged down and was a real blast. I used it for work too and it was very dependable. I regret selling it. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) | ||
