Good Vehicle — There's a few kinks in my 1998 Sahara Edition Wrangler, but it's an awesome ride. The exhaust manifolds on these jeeps should be tossed first thing. The first time you go wheeling, the manifold with crack due to being hot and suddenly exposed to cold. They now make a flew tube manifold that will take that kind of temp change without trouble. The top is easy to remove or put on, it's not too heavy, but could use an quicker easier way to take on or off than using bolts that need tightened of loosened. I have a hardtop so I have very minimal leak problems, BUT, the gaskets that they use on the hard tops are very prone to becoming stiff (especially if exposed to hot weather often). I've had to take the rear window gasket out and lay it out in the sun covered in vasaline to get the elasticity back several times, to prevent more leaks, which then cause mildew and mold on your seats. Drain holes. I do go out in the mud, puddles, ect, and I've had to drill 2 new drain holes in the back seat floor boards and hammer the floors down to slope towards the holes in the front floorboards. OTHERWISE I get a bunch of standing water in my floorboards once I'm done washing my jeep out. It was a PAIN to find (I had to make them) plugs for the holes I drilled in the back floorboards. The bumpers definetally do what they are intended to do, but if you take your beast wheeling with stock bumpers.. I dare you to hit a tree. Those suckers bend like twigs. The only other negative thing I have to say is that Jeep REALLY should've matched the rear dana 44 and put one in the front as well. Instead it has a dana 30. If you get caught in some clay and put it in 4x4. It's likely you won't have the front end pulling you anymore. That dana 30 will blow pretty easy. Other than that, I LOVE my jeep, they are put together pretty damn well, and are one of the most fun vehicles you could possibly own.

Perfect New Englad Vehicle — This car is great for cruising around town and the experience you get with the convertible top and doors off is one that I believe only a jeep wrangler will ever provide. I barely put any money into the jeep for the four years I owned it and now that it has almost 100k it only needs normal wear and tear items replaced. Jeeps are great vehicles and in my opinion have great build quality.

Great Looking And Running Jeep Wrangler — this is my 1998 wrangler. nothing to special, quality is very good nothing wrong. Promormence i cant complain much about, however a 4 cyl. with 33"'s and only 4 10 gears is a little much. Gas mileage is about 13 or 14ish with my little tires on i got about 21. But this car has always been fun to drive.

Makes A Statement — A Jeep is not just a "vehicle", it's an attitude. It performs in all situations you ask of it. The vehicle is certainly not built for speed, but it makes up for that short-coming in presence, stature and capability. Plus … it's hard to kill a JEEP :)

Pros

Love the Jeep Wrangler, the 4x4 and 6cyl seem to be built proof.  Being able to customize each Jeep to make it your own, is a great attributes, whether you want to put a few dollars into it or full out customize it, it is nice to have the versatility of owning a Jeep.

Cons

The stock sound system leaves a little bit to be desired, especially if you have the top down or off.

One Of The Best Suv's On The Market Today....a Must Own — The Jeep Wrangler is in a class of it's own, you can go anywhere in it, and it is one of the simplest vehicles to maintain. The fact of being able to put the top down and take off the doors in a matter of minutes is wonderful. The sound system is weak, however if you purchase an affordable amp all is good. I would highly recommend everyone owning a Jeep at least once in their life!

Love It But Live By The Jeep Acronym, Just Empty Every Pocket — No dislikes, its wouldn't be a breaking down gas hog had I never put it through hell lol. You jus can't beat a wrangler, so many different things you can do with them. I went with the black and lime green, gives it a mean look lol

This Vehicle Has Years Of Fun Left In It. — This is the best vehicle I've ever owned and I'm sorry to lose her. Always starts, 4wd goes thru anything. Hard top for winter soft top/no top for summer. Legendary straight six engine will run longer than I do.
