Simple, Powerful, And Easy To Maintain. Fun Factor Of 10 — Not the newest vehicle, and like any it has its downers. However, the downers are smothered by the uppers. Off the line torque is outstanding. Roll the throttle up to 3500RPM, and get shoved into your seat with exhilerating horsepower. Slight squeaks in the body movement, but that comes with age. the body may seem old, but is a very smooth curvy finish. Interior is Simple and easy to use. Con - Shift handle is a little far for the average driver to reach fifth comfortably. 23MPG out of a v8 5-speed. Simple to work on, and many of aftermarket suppliers keep prices to upgrade low. Boundries are endless! Keep it stock with 250 hp and little maintenance, or go all out and work your way up to 600+Hp for a few thousand. Fun to drive, and definately a headturner :-) Quick Braker with sticky tires, and aftermarket suspension and bushing upgrades can make it turn on a dime.

Love/hate Relationship — The appearance inside and out has stayed immaculate through the years. Performance is decent enough, and it handles ok with the right set of tires. Predictable understeer at the limit characterizes its canyon-carving abilities, and without a limited slip diff, power oversteer with the V6 is unheard of. Quality-wise, the engine and tranny are strong, however I've been having a cooling issue for the past year and a half. I halfway blame it on the mechanic I've been using. He hasn't gotten it right YET. Other than that, its been 125k miles of mischief in that car, and it ain't over yet. Just wish

A Mustang, It Is What It Is. — When you buy a mustang, you know you're getting a car that looks cool and is great in good conditions. If you live south of the Mason-Dixon line, it's a great car. Just never ever, ever take it out in the snow.

Pros

it turns more heads than a Honda would... lol and they hear that thundering V8 coming rather than that fart sound of a 4cyl.

Cons

not the best mpg I've gotten but I have had worse, if I keep my foot on the clutch at a red light by the time it changes my leg starts to go numb.

It's A Very Fun Car To Cruise In. — It's a very fun car to drive. It's 5speed so stop an go traffic is a pain. It's not bad on gas mileage for a V8, but after all it's still a sports car so your not go to get 40mpg.

With A Few Mods This Is A Great Daily Driver. — Like so many other cars over the years this was neglected by its prior owners, pulleys, belts, tune ups, oil leaks, power rack, shocks struts were shot, ball joints and tie rod ends. Leather seats were cracked and split and the carpets were filthy.. After fixing / replacement of the above and a change of color the car became my daily driver. I friend let me drive his 94 GT for a day (we traded cars) and I was impressed at the differences.. I bought a 94 GT convertible to build. It is nearing completion now... I just sold the 98 to put the 94 on the road for shake down.. I will put up the 94 when it is completed.

Great Car — My first Mustang. I had after market GT wheels and a cold air intake on it. It was very fast for a V6 and I loved the car. Looks amazing and very reliable. I missed having it so I got another just like it. Make sure to get a standard transmission

Love This Car — 12 years of great driving, completely new paint, brand new white top, as well as head lights, new stereo with cd player, still drives beautifully, transmission has been rebuild this year, all maintenance records have been kept, regular oil changes
