Pros

Fun and great for hauling lightweight items

Cons

none really, but does have suspension issues

Great Little Pickup For Someone Who Does Not Need A Full Size — Great little truck. Has good pick up for a four cylinder. Biggest problem would be that the mileage kinda sucks and the truck will always have little problems popping up here and there. Needs tie rods with oil changes. Has almost no blind spots and fits where most big trucks wont. Dont think you are gonna rip out trees and haul your buddies engine, this is only a cavalier with a pickup shell

Pros

Great gas mileage for a truck, excellent low end power from a 4 cylinder, cheap and easy horsepower modifications

Cons

Slow from factory

1998 Chevrolet S-10 2 Dr Ls Extended Cab Sb 2.2l 2wd 5 Speed — Its a pick-up that I reliably get 20-32 mpg with, is very durable, and drives amazing. A few hundred dollars greatly increases power and helps gas mileage. Rear wheel drive with 5 speed almost feels sporty. The interior is laid out great and its very comfortable for two people, but does seat 5. Its a little slow from the factory, and after-market parts sometimes require slight modifications, even though they say direct fit.

I Love The Look Of The Zr2. The 4.3 - 4l60e Power Train Combination Is One Of The Best. — The rugged off road look originally caught my eye. I knew from other peoples experience that one could get many trouble free miles out of the 4.3 V6. After owning this truck for 15 years it is like an old trusty friend.

I Love It — Runs great. Go through anything. Could use more power. LOL. Have not had a single problem with it yet. costs five grand. looks great. love the handling. you need no hands. runs straight. could get better the 18 for gas mileage.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Cons

My S-10 P/u — What sold me on it was the fact that it is a 5spd and the color is Carmel Apple Red. It has the flair sides which helped me decide. I have had it for 10yrs and have yet to see one of the same color and body style as mine. I live in Kansas City, MO so....

gas mileage

1998 Chevy S-10 — my truck accelerates really well for a 4 cyl as for the braking and handlling i have had my truck for about 5 yrs and not had any trouble out of either. you will be amazed at how strong this truck is built. i love the look of it. it is by far my favorite of all generations. maintenance has not been a problem at all just the routine stuff, i am am disappointed with the gas mileage it seems to get fewer than any 4 cly. i've ever owned. other than that there is no problems with this car. its is a blast to drive you get alot of looks and there is alot you can do with them so i will give them a big thumbs up!

Pros

Small, fast, able to work on it under the hood( for the most part) as opposed to the newer computerized trucks. It gets you where you need to go.

Cons

Gas mileage, limited space.

Small Truck That Rides Like A Car With Power. — Mine is a 4.3L V6. It has 15 inch wheels, and the stock audio system. It is an extended cap, but it aint a family vehicle for sure! Its all pretty simple, i havn't invested that much into it, although if i were to do so, i would buy spray-in bed liner, and a better tool box. I did expect excellent gas mileage from this truck, but mine gets about 15 or 16 on average. It does remind remind me of a lower-riding car when i drive it, not a big Dually or something, and that is just a personal liking, hence the one-line summary.

A Solid Light Duty Pickup. — They're really reliable but they're not very fast or powerful. They do get good milage and the front seats are suprisingly roomy for two people. She just rolled over to 153,000 miles and still running like the day i bought it.
