Pros

fun tuning and more engine displacement than most economy 4 bangers

Cons

can't chip puter(gotta have remapped $$), stuck with speed governor unless u wanna go too risky, and solid rear axle

Love The Body Style. Challenge Yourself To Its Tuning Obstacles And Be Way Better Than An Easy Honda — reliable, cheap, and lots of aftermarket upgrades. accelerator lag high and clumsy steering wheel with drag too heavy. watch out for only 3 speed if getting auto...not very highway worthy....you NEED the 4 speed auto . tons of this version "j-body" cars around for pieces and its very reliable....everything important always holds up on these.

Pros

I like just about everything in this car, looks great, sounds awesome, runs like a great American car.

Cons

The leaky after-market sunroof which wasn't installed properly by a former owner.

I Love My Car And Am So Thankful To Have It! — This little car has been an incredible blessing and is everything I wanted in a car! Fuel econ is pretty decent besides the 17 gallon gas tank. Power is great and sounds even better with Thrush exhaust! I'm going to drive it as long as I possibly can.

Pros

I really loved the gas mileage in this car.

Cons

I hated that the passenger door did not open.

I Really Miss Having This Car. — It was very slow, had great brakes, and ok handling. It never needed repairs just the passenger door did not open. The interior was really nice, and the exterior had one big dent that shut the passenger door for good. Gas mileage was amazing and I never had to fix the car. I loved driving the car and everyone looking at me because I painted it.

Great Car — Very reliable car....cheap on gas and with the 2.4L with manual transmission, it's pretty quick....and when u need to do maintenance, parts are really cheap to buy as well..... i love this car even if it's just a cavalier...lol ....

Cons

Throw Away Car. Good In Times Of Desperation — It's cute. Decent acceleration, braking, and handling for a base model chevy. Build quality isn't great, most things that go wrong with the engine are hard to get to. It's alot of fun to drive. gas mileage is GREAT on the highway, sucky as hell in town.

Cons

Not built for New Brunswick winters

A Great First Car. — Easy to handle in the spring, summer, and fall, but just dosen't have the power to handle a winter drive. Very low maintanence, and cheep on gas, i fill it maybe once a month. Overall a great car for a chev.
