Unlike Newer Model Cadillacs, This Car Has The Classic Cadillac Look — You can't beat the ride on a long trip, decent gas mileage for its size. My car looks and feels like a Cadillac should. I have had this car for 2 years and no service problems whatsover. The V8 Northstar has awesome acceleration, good for getting out on the freeway in merging traffic. Primary Use: Family transportation

Couldn't Be More Happier! — I like the gas mileage first, approx. 25 mpg on hwy. and 20-21 in city. It's comfortable, easy to handle, couldn't ask for better performance from the Northstar V-8 engine. It has bells and whistles on it I didn't think they would put on a car. Excellent investment. So far, in the 5 months I've owned this auto, I haven't found anything I dislike about it. I feel totally safe in this auto, with all the air bags in it, And the braking system is great. The car is absolutly beautiful. It has the leather interior that has been taken care of well since 1998. | ||

A Very Nice Car!!! — the ride is a little soft compared to what i am used to, monte carlos and firebirds. although the absence of road n oise is nice for a car this old. enigne preformance is exciting as you put the pedal to the floor and you feel yourself sinking in the seat. straight a ways are a must for this car, quick turns or slaloms not a good thing. this car is fun if you enjoy long rides! Cadillacs Rule — i love this car, it has the 4.6 L northstar V8. it has a crapload of horsepower, as well as it gets great gas mileage. The caddy has seen the governor in action before. (For those of you that don't know, the governor is set at 150 mph!) Primary Use: Family transportation | ||

Big Car Big Power,and Big Mpg — first the bad. not cheap to maintain. 8quart oil changes, and over priced parts, many not compatible with the regular Deville. On the other hand it's big and comfortable and goes like hell. 300horsepower 6.7 0 to 60, 15.1 in the 1/4, and capable of 150mph. bucket seats, floor shifter, analog gauges with tach and 150mph speedo, and can touch 29miles per gallon on the highway, if you stick it at 70mph. trunk big enough for a wheelchair and luggage. great brakes and doesn't handle to bad for it's size. however this car was never meant to be tossed around or raced. traction control and stability control keep you from finding the limits of this cars potential. trac can be disabled but then cars starts in 2nd, so no winter fun but. all said I personally love this car and would without a doubt purchase a newer one. not your grand dads Caddy. 1998 Cadillac Deville — I just recently treated myself to this beauty and I'm very happy I bought her. She runs great (Northstar V8), very powerful and yet, a very smooth ride. Got her fully loaded, every option possible is in except, unfortunately, a CD stereo but that's to come. | ||

Great Car — Nouthing bad to say about this car, it has been really reliable rides really smooth. I had to put a little money into the engine but now it drives like a brand new car and the only reason why im selling it is, is cause im looking to buy a newer model cadillac. I Would Buy Another Deville. — My Car has high milage 175k + and it's pretty impressive. Everything I am about to say is at 175k + Milage • Acceleration feels heavy but smooth. • Braking is pretty good putting in mind how much the car weighs. • Handling is amazing, Steering wheel nice, smooth and sensitive. • Shocks are really bouncy, so you don't feel bumps, but it's a big downfall on how much weight or people you can have in the back because if its too much, the back bumper will hit the ground on slight bumps. • Had a few Radiator problems and the car heating doesn't work that well. • I have a rag top, and it looks pretty nice and elegant. But it depends how you drive it, it can look ghetto at times. • The interior is all beige leather with heated seats, very spacious for a sedan and it is fully automatic inside. • I think it is well worth what it costs. I got what i paid for and more with this vehicle. • The car is a lot of fun to drive, it has very nice sound system, and everyone knows it as the party car. • This car has a Northstar Engine, what it does is when cruising, it shuts down 4 out of 8 cylinders to save gas. At 175k miles, it makes 25 mpg highway and 16 city. Primary Use: Family transportation |
