Pros

Economy, reliability, efficiency

Cons

Crash test ratings, a little small

Great All Around And Hauls Way More Than You'd Think, Love It — I love my truck, I've had two American cars and now this Japanese truck and I'll never go back. Even with a camper shell, four dudes, and the back packed with everything we would need to play a show (bass amp, guitar amp, PA w/head, stands, drum set, pedal boards, guitars and extras) it still pulled up the Grapevine at an even 60 mph. This truck is great, the crash test ratings aren't amazing, but I get about 23 mpg regularly and it still needs a tune-up, so it can get better. All in all, I love this truck and now Toyota in general

It'll Climb A Tree — The toyota truck reputation holds true with this one. I haven't had mechanical problems out of it.

Pros

Go anywhere Truck. Very low maintance. Great high altitude vehicle (I4 would pass most V8's going up mountain passes). Highly recomended pick up.

Cons

Not having one! No cruise or adjustable intermitent wipers.

Get One, Awesome — Off road capability, 31x10.5 stock tires. Great clearance, short wheel base. Good gas mileage, roughly 20 -22 average. Looks. 5 speed Manual transmision. Never had a single issue with the truck. Never let me down and I really pushed its limits. Overall, Best vehicle I have ever owned!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

good gas milage

Cons

Small cab

Toyota Tacoma — This truck was nice and got great gas mileage. The 4wd worked well for being just a small 4 banger. Although being just a single cab i didn't have enough space so i traded it in for a ext cab Colorado

Unbelievable — Best Truck ever. It is 100x better than the dodge dakota. Endless possibilities you can do with this truck. It is good on gas and is a blast to drive around town with. You will never be upset with this truck. Everyone should have one.

Pros

Very reliable. Fun to play in the mud.

Cons

Oil changes

Toyo Taco. Great Truck For Daily And Off-road — 4 Wheel drive requires stepping out the car to manually lock the front wheels for my model. Oil changes are a pain the the ass, especially since the oil filter off the the side of engine. Drives great, decent power, very reliable. My new DD as of two or three months ago. Love it.

Love My Truck. — Love my truck. Solid, and dependable. It has over 160k miles on it and I would drive it to LA and back without batting an eye. Not the most powerful, but it does the job. Pulls my 19 foot Bayliner, albeit slowly with little complaint.
