Worth Every Penny — This is a great car bought it with 171000 miles on it and am now at 255000. It is not great to look at but with 2 kids and a dog (boxer) it moves the whole family, and then some

Pros

twin turbo boosting gives you a huge grin.

Cons

petrol consumption is high.

If You Do High Mileage Avoid It, If You Dont Then Youve Got To Own One. — the car is a hoot to drive, hitting 5000 rpm and feeling the kick in your ass from secondary turbo has a huge grin factor. Ultra practical with loads of space and also very good in the snow with its 4wd.

Reliable — Love the fact that it looks cool enough to drive alone and get to the cool spots, but its still a wagon. I was fortunate to get a great car at a great price. Another plus is that there is a huge form to help w/diy help to fix the little things....

Pros

Lots of extras, and lots of reliability!

Cons

Gas milage

No Better Vehicle For The Chicago Area! — The best AWD there ever was! Always starts! With a set of new tires this vehicle could be used for snow plowing! Very powerful engine, little noisy though. Gas milage is definately a downside but with the new model that comes with CVT that is definately the best family vehicle there ever was.

It's A Good Car — Pretty good handling especially in muddy roads and snowy days... it is AWD, much bigger car than my PT Cruiser (I owned them at the same time between 2000 to 2003), it has a 2.5 NA engine, but amazingly, it took less gas than the PT... wired!!! Japanese engineering... I guess?!

Pros

fun sedan to use for work or road trip with friends

Cons

tune ups take longer than ur average inline 4cyl and labor cost more if u take it to a shop

25

Great Car For The Price. Relieable And Somewhat Fun To Drive — acceleration is decent for a stock 4cyl. braking is nice due to disc all the way around. handling is great due to the awd lol. let quality is good i have put 30000+ miles in less the 10months and all it ask for is a tune up and tires lol. styling is nice its a sport sedan has sunroof spoiler leather power acc. all the basics. its a 4cyl so gas is more than reasonable. maintence is basic tune ups and normal parts that wear over time. price is reasonable i got my for the low low so i was extremely happy with my purchase lol. fun factor is medium its fun to take it for a spin thru traffic or dwn a mountain pass. does a good job of geting me around and the occaisional roadtrip...lol only dwn side is engine compartment tight and require more time to basic tune ups

it does everything and lasts forever. what more do you want from a car.

Cons

nothing I can think of

25

I Can Beat A Honda On The Road And A Jeep On The Trails, Enough Said. — I can beat a honda on the road and a jeep on the trails, enough said. over 300,000 miles of mud, racing , hauling, beer runs, it did it all with ease. only one clutch replacement, as well as suspension and wheel bearings in all the time I owned it, and I OWNED it to the fullest. only subaru for me for ever and only the BD chassis.

rally built

Cons

sometimes can be very uncomfortable

25

Get It If You Have The Money — very nice car, great space in the back for daily stuff yet puts up great power with the twin turbo flat four. the all wheel drive system makes it good for handling and keeps it on its toes. over all a great car!

Pros

its 13 years old but still t=runs strong

Cons

we had to put to motors in it...it needs a turbo

35

Sweet — this car is quick car it corners good has a neat style about it and is so much fun to drive on the high way you can do high speeds without trying trying very hard you could get in trouble with it but it would totally be worth it. there are faster cars out there for sure but not many that are built as good or better than Subaru's

This Is The Most Budget Conscious Boring Car. — The performance is horrible, The car is smooth and quiet with tons of miles on it. It just runs you cant go wrong with this car unless your looking for something fun and inspiring. Cheap to fix to is always a plus when you in college.
