Pros

Good daily driver

Cons

slow/purple

Grandam — 1997 pontiac Grand Am. Winter beater/ daily driver. Gets good mileage and it runs pretty good for having 155,000 miles on it. Gets me from point a to point be very safely and slowly and draws no attention whatsoever, unless i put it into a cement ditch and have to have a friend pull me out at 3 in the morning.

Good Car For Student But That About It — just a everyday driver that me and my girlfriend have put way to much money into and am just driving it till i get a newer car that me and my gf both like and apreciate for what the car is worth

Pros

Quick, broke down but never enough to leave me stranded

Cons

everything was broken or at least broken once (sometimes more than once)

25

First Car — My first car. This car lived a hard life and never left me stranded. This car was bought heavily used, then wrecked into a tree and then driven home from the accident. The V6 made it quicker than my friends cars, and the broken parts gave it personality.

nice look and small

Cons

motor

Good Car — I like the lines, they are sporty, but not over the top. I hate the motor, but I'm about to drop a new one in, and pugrade the supercharger on the new motor in order to put 320hp to the wheels

Sporty And Easy On Gas — drives amazingly, good on gas, plenty of power for a small car, many of upgrade opportunities, handles great on curvy roads, and is one of the funnest cars i have ever drove in my life, great car for anyone, overall an excellent car.

Pros

miles per gallon on the highway, 31

Cons

Don't see any unless it is an accident vehicle

Buy The V-6, Not The 4 Banger — Check engine light coming on for an evap code was annoying. That was the cannister and the vent valve. Then it was the minimum air rate that was too low causing small evap leak. So i set that and all is well. Paint is still origional with 260,000 km's on it. So is the complete exhaust system.

Pros

When it works, it works well.

Cons

Brakes are not working, broken hub cap, kind of slow

35

My Grand Am — This car has had too many problems since I bought it. The performance is okay, although currently the braking doesn't really work at all. It has average acceleration and speed. It isn't anything special, but it gets the job done.

Cons

horrible braker

Pontiac Grand Am 97 — It was ok for a first car but it was not that great. It drives well and the newer versions are better looking and drive better. The braking was horrible but the acceleration was good. The appearance was alright. the gas mileage when i got it was ok, better than most cars its age.

good power

Cons

bad engine cooling system

25

Not A Great Car — DAMN engine cooling systems suck on Pontiac's ....it has good power for a 2.4 but the engine components really don't last..... it only has 86.000 miles on it but Ive already had to do so much work to it..... good buy if your a professional mechanic... that's all i would not recomend this car to an average joe...
