Pros

Good acceleration, roomy interior, large trunk, cool appearance, it's an Oldsmobile

Cons

Build quality, cheap interior, creakes when braking and turning

Overall This Was A Great First Car To Own And I Plan On Keeping It For A Long Time. — This car has terrific acceleration and excellent handling which makes it very fun to drive. The build quaily is not the best. I have owned the car for 3 years and have needed to replace the water pump and the head gasket, the a/c does not work, the rear defrosters do not work correctly, and the power antenna no longer works. Also when brakeing and turning the car makes creaking noises but this is common for GM cars from this era. Apperance wise the car's styling is pretty cool and sporty especially for a sedan. The interior is nice and roomy but the dashboard and center console feel rather cheap especially for a higher end car. Overall this car is fun to drive and I plan on keeping this car for a long time because I love Oldsmobiles, and it was my first true car.

I Never Wish To Sell This Car — I love this car, smooth driving, not too much get up and go though, has needed a few repairs, when I drive I kick back and let her go. Has driven long haul and done awesomely! Little over heating problem though...just in idle. Fans aren't working and need to figure out why. Also wondering about the power steering fluid leak.

Its Pink! — performance wise, i would say my car is a piece...the build quality is pretty amazing, the love of my life built this car from the ground up practically..the car itself is pretty solid, drives smooth, looks nice both outside and in...i absolutely love my baby!..

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Love This Car! — I loved this car! Power, performance, comfort, yes, yes, and yes. It was the first "nicer" car I purchased and I got my money's worth out of it for the most part. I needed to put some $$$ into it at about 160000 miles and drove it to about 180000 (would have gone more if I hadn't slacked off on the up-keep towards the end...)

Pros

The passengers I drive with..

Cons

Big fat, small, loose

Olds — It's pretty decent. Sometimes I think I should push it off a cliff. That might materialize someday if I become angry enough at it. I will not regret doing it either. It's not that it is fun to drive.. rather that it brings me from point a to point b.

Pros

Extremely reliable, Puts up with a ton of abuse. Is a beautifully designed car

Cons

Old. Worn leather on seats and steering wheel. Broken console lid one morning when it was 17 below.

General Comments — I bought the old girl six years ago with 79,000 mi and she now has 199,000 mi. It has never let me down or failed to get me where I needed to go. It has cost me very little in repair to keep going. It is now definitely starting to show its age, but, come on! It's 12 years old and has almost 200,000 mi! It has put up with my stop llght drag racing, passing slow people, and temper tantrums when I pissed off at someone or something and keeps coming back for more. I do hope to retire her for a new car within the next year. I don't think she is going to keep up with the 450 miles a week for much longer. I still love her and would love to keep her forever, but, she is still a machine and will probably end up being my friend's or my mom's car soon just because I drive too much to keep up with any really old car like her.

Not fast enough

Be Different — Its not the fastest car by any means but its fun shutting up some of those pesky ricers. I haven't had many problems with this car except for the infamous 3.1L lower intake gasket leak. I love this car i will never get rid of it. It is the only car of its kind, period.

Cons

Hot Red Alpha-male Automobile. — this thing is a monster waiting to feed on innocent people. It is unbelievable when everything is fine, and pulls hard even when its in need of tlc. So amazing. The interior is very well designed, looks a lot better than the other GM cars of the same family. Spins the tires at command.

Pros

Zippy V6, smooth ride, spacious interior and trunk, clean dash board with easy accessible controls, 4 disc brakes, and very Sporty out side.

Cons

Heater knobs tend to wear out fast, can be expensive for new ones.

35

Sporty And Relieable Vehicle! — I loved this car drove it for two years and I had a lot of fun with it. Zippy 3.1 liter V6 gave great gas miliage and lots of speed. The part i loved most about the car was the large trunk which was great of a lot of stuff or a large sound system. Also, i loved the smooth ride the car had to it, you could be doing 90 mile an hour and it felt like 60!
