awesome handling, and the V-6 has V-8 power.

Cons

Luxury, Sporty, And Power All In One. A Good Status Symbol ;-) — I have only one complaint about owning a Lexus... They are not known for sturdy cup holders... They break really easily, so you have to be gentle with them (hard when you have kids in the back seat who like to get into everything within reach and LOVE to kick their feet...) This is a common complaint I've heard with any Lexus, but other than that... the best luxury car you can buy! BMW's are nice but they tend to be in the shop too much. The parts are just as expensive as a Lexus part, but you end up spending twice as much for a BMW because they are in the shop twice as much as a Lexus. Hence why I chose a Lexus over a BMW.

Luxury Car — Awesome ride quality! Like ur driving with pillows all around u! Performance-wise, I it's pretty good; the acceleration and torque are good. Cost of ownership, I think, is about $90 a month for insurance. Rather fun car to drive, like driving in a cloud.

A Decent Affordable Used Luxury Car. — Great on Gas. Runs strong. Very comfortable. Amazing Highway car. Terrible cup holders. and as everyone knows..... worn struts and ticking V-6. A entry level affordable quality car for everyday use. Wish it had a manual gearbox for sure.

Great Car — The car is of amazing quality. While driving down the busy loud streets of boston, I just roll my windows up. and it's quiet. I don't even hear the engine on idle or light acceleration. It has a suspension unmatched to any other car I drove. But on acceleration, it quick to respond with sport-like handling and the engine sounds great under heavy acceleration. My ES 300 also gets great mileage, and is very reliable (169377 miles and counting) and that, to me, is what counts the most with my Lexus.

Timless look and with a few bolt-ons it turns into a beast.

Cons

I wish the stock 200 hp was higher but 1997 luxery cant expect much more.

If You Want To Keep It Stock It Is The Perfect 4 Door Sedan That Looks Amazing. — It is a great car. It isn't the fastest or the best preforming in the world but as a overall car it is amazing. 4-door 5 seats so very versatile. With what I have done it makes the car AMAZING.

My Dad's Old Car 1999-2005 — This was my father's old car. It was great. I learned to drive on this car and it was a blast to drive. It had an impressive V-6 that really moved when you needed it to, it was incredibly reliable, it was comfortable, roomy, and had plenty of amenities for it's day. This car had a premium sound system in it and could really kick. Overall, I'd say this is my favorite car that my family has owned thus far.

Excellent For Luxury Fans — Not a good car for a teenager because it does cost a lot in gas. It has a 18.5 gallon tank and it is a v6. YOu can imagine it does great on gas. Overall a smooth drive if the car is maintained properly. It is a beautiful car and everything is electric. THe more you hate the car you love it because you dont want to give up a gem like this one.
