Cons

Xj — Really Can Not Even Express My Love For Jeeps and Off Roading. I've had a few Wranglers, A Grand Cherokee and a Cherokee, but this one.. my toy.. is Definitely my Favorite. Had to get the 5spd, I-6. It has a 3" Susp Lift wth 31" Mickey Thompson MTZ's. Motor is strong, it runs incredible on and off road. I can't believe the Liberty replaced it, and now they don't even offer this great old I-6 AMC motor anymore :(

Pros

a fun car to drive

Cons

gas mileage sucks

35

My Jeep — Acceleration is awesome along with braking. handling sucks. It's a Jeep so it always squeaks and rattles. The interior is clean and the exterior has some battle scars. Gas mileage is decent, 16 mpg. My Cherokee is fun to drive on and off the road. If you follow me, you're not gonna make it!

Pros

handling. comfort factor. breathing room in the lane. climate control. gas pedal response. brakes. clutch. torque. traction.

Cons

tires. rims. trim.

45

Best Suv Ive Driven — acceleration is really good. hops right out of the lights. its build is nice and solid ever since the front end was reallined. exterior appearance is a bit boring. but that will be fixed pretty quick. interior could use some seat covers. I love driving it. gets around 20 miles to the gallon.

Pros

The lift kit makes it look better than a regular Cherokee, it's easy to drive, and it runs well. There's no big dents or scratches, either.

Cons

The lift kit could cause it to flip if it's turned too sharply, the inside smells a bit odd (nothing bad, just... different), and there's something wrong with the battery it has now so we have to jump start it... But that's easily fixed.

45

Hawt — It's not quite like the one in the picture. It's black, and the lift kit isn't quite as high, but I still love it! It's easy to drive and has yet to tip over on me. :]

Pros

This reliable old vehicle is everything the typical boxy jeep cherokee is supposed to be - it's reliable, adaptable, stronger than you'd expect, and the gas mileage is less than ideal. For a 17 year old car it's in great shape with low miles. Having the capacity for 4wd makes this car incredibly useful for camping, off roading, etc..

Cons

Low gas mileage compared to more recent vehicles, needs a paint job, and the rear of the headliner is starting to fall.

Utilitarian — Aside from the sentimental value attached to this Jeep (it was inherited from a dear friend), this Jeep has always been trustworthy and useful. No major engine problems, no surprises with the regular maintenance, and frequent usefulness all make this a great vehicle. It's the kind of vehicle that inspires ideas to go off road and take it out to actually use.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

One Of The Best Fowl Weather Beasts Out There — even though this old jeep only gets 15 mph in the city it will go when nothing else will it drives great and runs good for 200+ miles. 4 wheel drive is easy to operate and I feel comfortable when the wife and kids need to go in bad weather.the truck accelerates well and drives quite well. I bought this old jeep wrecked last summer for 500 dollars and spent about that much more to fix her up and after this winter have decided it was money well spent .its a keeper!

Jeep Cherokee With Lift — I have nothing bad to say about this jeep She is so reliable and so strong Gets me home in the snow! Has power door locks and windows, love the keyless entry Lots of space in the back. Looks sexy as hell with a brush gard and lift BFG's hold up extremely well.

Pros

It has plenty of room for people and cargo. Plus it goes almost anywhere!

Cons

Rear springs were sagging.

Amazing Value For The Money! — Best vehicle I've owned yet. It could go almost anywhere. I never did manage to get it stuck. Throw on some mud terrain tires and these things are awesome in the snow. The manual 6cyl is very quick. They are very roomy inside and the rear seat folds down for more room. Only problem I had was that the spare was inside the vehicle and was a donut. I ended up taking it out all together for more room.

Its An Awsome Jeep — This is a really nice Jeep, its great for going mudding, offroading, and driving in the snow. It also is really good on gas, i put about 40 dollars in the tank at 3.36 a gallon and it fills it to almost full.
