Cons

This Generation of accords has an issue with the front power windows. Thy are slow and sometimes they quit working all together. But that's a small issue for such a great car.

According To Me. — First off, I <3 my Honda. These are some of the most reliable cars on the road. I haven't had a problem with this car and the odometer reads a scant 225,000 miles. :D The interior is ergonomically designed, everything is in reach and easy to adjust. I would have to say the exterior is one of the best looking cars of it's time, and even now. I have done some cosmetic modifications that really make it look aggressive. But it's a far cry from The Fast And The Furious. (thankfully, I hate those stupid ricers :P) On to performance, this car is not crazy fast (remember is a family sedan) but when it has the 5-speed manual transmission, it's a peppy car. It accepts modifications like it's own, and you really notice a difference when you install just a few bolt-ons. Left stock you will get about 32mpg on the highway, and even with a few mods it still returns the amount or even greater if it's properly tuned. It really just sips the gas. :) Though it's not the fastest car it is certainly one of the most fun to drive. The steering is exact, the brakes are strong and pedal feel is solid, and when you need to get on the highway, there is plenty of power to get you up to speed quickly. All in all this is a great car to have, it's reliable, good looking, and fun to drive.

Pros

Fast, cheap to run, awe-inspiring handling and acceleration. Stereo quality that resembles divine perfection.

Cons

The odd front light bulbs, the bipolar heating system,  the car insulation.

A Grandpa's Car That Means A Lot Of Fun For Almost No Money. — Performance: Very, very fast, and accelerates like the devil. Build Quality: It's Honda, so its very reliable... if it has been taking care of, if not, you are going to have lots of time having fun with the front lights. Appearance: Dull on the exterior, and a nice place to be in the interior. It's a grandpa's car, so don't expect nothing "stylish", nice, but conservative. Cost of ownership: The car almost runs by itself, Gas mileage is very, very good (drove it with emergency lights for hours). Maintenance is very cheap. Fun Factor: Fast, Accelerates well, the steering is super precise and super sharp, the stereo is remarkable, and it has a sunroof. Yeah, you'll have fun. Lots of.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros

super fun, easy to tune, low maintenance, decent mpg

Cons

if you are strictly a v-tech fan this car is not for you, also being it only has 8.8:1 cr it has little to no low end power

Great Car With Awesome Performance Potential (with Some Patience And $$$) — All i have done too it is a super short ram, front sway bar,and an ultimate tuning performance (UTP) chip. With these three mods (roughly $120s worth) the car has opened up just slightly in low range, but does great in mid range, not so good in high range power. The car stock performancewise is worthless as its a f22b2 2.2 litre single cam non v-tech (stock rating @ 8.8:1 compression ratio//great for boost) with a 4 speed auto. Love the body lines. The car is pretty fun to drive for most part specially with the tower bar up front helps dramatically with cornering. Car had been in 2 accidents and still runs and drives great jus needs alignment and a driver door and we are back in business. not the fastest but fast enuff for now! (20-23mpg, it was purchased for $4400, other than oil changes theres not really any maintenance to be done )

All Around Good Car — Its nice, a good reliable car with like 28 miles to the gallon. Shifting in a stick is fun, this car has some pretty good pep. There are a lot of good things about this car... Almost no maintenance needed. The beauty of a Honda of course.. Just give it gas and go

Pros

Fuel efficiency, easily modified, fun to drive, low maintenance costs, good performance

Cons

I would have loved it in a convertible.

5th Generation Accord — Only modifications that I did to my car that kept the car in an inspectable state were cat back exhaust and cold air intake system. This made the car sound great. I averaged 0-60 times of about 6.5 - 7 seconds which is not bad for a car that gets over 30 mpg. Although the car had over 160,000 miles, the maintenance costs were minimal. It was very fun to drive and was a great first car for me.

I Miss My Car... — My very first car I've owned, and I fell in love with it when I sat in the driver's seat and it took me anywhere I wanted to go without any problems. I miss her so much... Good bye Acco-chan....

Great Car For A Low Budget Family — This car has everything for a family: seating space, cargo space and power. Don't be fooled by it's looks as it has some power under the hood. Couple all that with great mpg and voila! My car has almost 20,000 miles on it and shows no sign of slowing down or struggling.
